A stunning story has appeared in the press this week. The Iowa Department of Corrections, which oversees the state's prisons, overdose 77 prisoners on the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine. The prisoners began feeling ill, but none were hospitalized. Some prisoners were given 6 times the recommended limit.

It is highly unlikely this was an accident. My thinking is this, as Pfizer seeks to release a booster shot of its heavily criticized coronavirus vaccine, which has already killed people, and greatly sickened others, I'm of the belief someone is seeking to find the threshold of how much a human can reasonably withstand in reference to the drug.

After all, there are fully vaccinated people contracting coronavirus, and some even dying of Covid, which has called the vaccine's efficacy into question. To outright test how much a human can withstand is illegal and inhumane. However, if it is blamed on a bizarre overdose, they can attempt to call it an accident (even though it is not one).

Seventy-seven Iowa prison inmates were given overdoses of COVID-19 vaccine — thought to be up to six times the normal amount — but none became ill enough to need hospitalization, authorities said. The incident happened Tuesday at the Iowa State Penitentiary in Fort Madison, which is a maximum-security prison for men.

Cord Overton, a spokesperson for the Iowa Department of Corrections, said Thursday that none of the inmates became ill enough to need outside medical attention. "The large majority of inmates continue to have very minor symptoms consistent with those that receive the recommended dose of the vaccine," he wrote in an email to the Des Moines Register. "These include sore arm, body aches, and one inmate has experienced a low-grade fever, which was treatable with Tylenol."

Overton said early reports indicated the inmates were given up to six times the standard dose of the vaccine. He said prison officials have consulted with experts at the University of Iowa, the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Pfizer, which manufactured the vaccine. He said the experts recommended the patients be monitored for at least 48 hours, but "they did not expect any inmates to have severe reactions."

Kimberly Koehlhoeffer, 51, of Fairfield, told the Register Wednesday that her son, Anthony Koehlhoeffer, is among the affected inmates. She said her son and other inmates experienced symptoms that included nausea, lack of appetite, severe bruising at the injection site and severe dehydration.

For now, administration of COVID-19 vaccines has halted in the prison, and an investigation will be conducted, Overton said. Two nursing staff members who allegedly administered the vaccine to the 77 inmates have been placed on leave "pending the outcome of the investigation"...

April 23, 2021 Updated: April 23, 2021- Officials in Iowa said that 77 prisoners received overdoses of the COVID-19 vaccine this week, triggering an internal investigation into the matter. They were given the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine against the virus, authorities with the state’s Department of Corrections said. None of the inmates became ill enough to be hospitalized.

Cord Overton, a spokesperson for the Iowa Department of Corrections, said in a statement that inmates at the Iowa State Penitentiary were given doses of the vaccine Tuesday that exceeded the recommended dosage.
