19 nations have stopped the use of AstraZeneca's coronavirus vaccine in their respective countries, due to blood clotting issues. Some incidents of blood clots forming due to the AstraZeneca have resulted in deaths. Governments are now reviewing the cases.

The vaccines are trying to produce a reaction from the immune system to fight coronavirus. However, they are deteriorating people's systems in trying to provoke the production of antibodies to fight coronavirus. As stated on March 2, 2021, it's overwhelming some people's system. Now Irish medical chief says use of AstraZeneca Covid jab should be suspended after reports of blood clots in Norway, as region in Italy suspends vaccine following death of a teacher

Published: 07:07 EDT, 14 March 2021 | Updated: 14:58 EDT, 14 March 2021 - An Irish health chief has called for the AstraZeneca vaccine to be suspended following reports of serious post-jab blood clots in Norway and the death of a teacher in Italy.

Irish authorities have been pushing the pharmaceutical giant to speed up its vaccine supplies to the Republic, where cases per million exceeded the UK's figures during the peak of the January wave. But now, deputy chief medical officer Dr Ronan Glynn said Ireland will act on a 'precautionary principle' and pause the AstraZeneca rollout following reports of 'serious blood clotting events'.

Norwegian health authorities say that three healthcare workers who had the AstraZeneca jab were being treated in hospital for bleeding, blood clots and a low count of blood platelets. In a statement to Irish media, AstraZeneca said analysis of safety data looking at 17 million doses of the vaccine administered has shown no evidence of an increased risk of the conditions concerned.

It follows similar moves across Europe to suspend the use of the Oxford-developed jab over concerns of links to blood-clotting. Authorities in Denmark, Norway and Iceland have suspended the use of the vaccine, while Austria stopped using a batch of AstraZeneca shots last week while investigating a death from coagulation disorders.

Today, health bosses in the Italian region of Piedmont banned the use of a batch of the AstraZeneca vaccine after a teacher died following his jab yesterday. Monday 15 March 2021 23:51, UK - Germany, France, Italy and Spain are suspending use of the Oxford-AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine as EU regulators investigate reports some people developed blood clots after having the jab.

The German health ministry, the Italian medicines authority and French President Emmanuel Macron said the measure was a "precaution" while the European Medicines Agency (EMA) looks into the matter. Mr Macron said EU regulators were expected to give guidance on Tuesday afternoon.

Spain joined the group early on Monday evening, with a pause in its use of the vaccine to last at least two weeks, and Portugal and Slovenia have also temporarily halted their rollout of the jab. The countries are the latest European nations to stop administering the AstraZeneca vaccine amid concerns over possible links to the clots...
