Yesterday marked the worst and deadliest day thus far in America's battle against the coronavirus (Covid-19). 3,725 people died yesterday in America due to Covid-19. America has experienced 19,000,000 coronavirus cases and 341,000 deaths from the virus. California alone has over 2,000,000 cases and their healthcare system is at breaking point. People are being turned away from hospitals in the state.

TSA estimated that 7,000,000 Americans took to the skies to fly at Christmas. It is also estimated a total of 85,000,000 Americans traveled this Christmas, via air, train, bus and car, despite pleas from officials not to do so. The New York Times stated it was the highest travel day since March, which was the inception of the pandemic in America.

As seen with the Thanksgiving holiday in November, the increased travel has greatly helped to spread the virus around the country, the results of which are being seen this week via a massive increase in coronavirus cases. Ironically, the biggest travel day is expected to be January 3, 2021, which means even more cases will emanate from that day. These are not good developments. This push for herd immunity is deadly and financially costly.
