Hollywood star personality Dr. Oz was slammed on social
networking today for controversial comments he made about the deadly coronavirus outbreak. During an appearance on the Fox News station,
Dr. Oz informed television host Sean Hannity that America should be
removed from lockdown as soon as possible.
Dr. Oz bizarrely stated, "I tell you, schools are a
very appetizing opportunity." He further stated it, "May only cost
us 2 to 3 percent in terms of total mortality" and it "might be a
trade-off some folks would consider."
To refer to the potential death of 2,000,000 school
kids as an "appetizing opportunity" is very disturbing. Such an
occurrence would be tragic and terrible. Parents would struggle to
function under that type of development. Furthermore, it would not help the
economy, which is clearly his main concern. Having a bereaved
workforce of millions is a terrible idea. Beware of anyone who
thinks the endangerment and potential death of children is
acceptable collateral damage to achieve a desired goal or outcome.
It is not the first time Dr. Oz has made troubling
statements. He has repeatedly endorsed fad diets and questionable
products that promise his viewers rapid weight loss. He was summoned
to the U.S. Congress and slammed for his behavior as a quack and
charlatan. Hollywood has warped Dr. Oz's brain.
