Boris Johnson's Catalogue Of Errors And Poor Choices
Has Left Britain Vulnerable During The Coronavirus
Outbreak (Video)April 3. 2020
Britain's prime minister Boris Johnson is once again in over his
head
Over the past few weeks, Britain's prime minister,
Boris Johnson, has made many errors and poor choices in dealing with
the coronavirus outbreak (Covid-19) as it pertains to Britain.
Johnson initially ignored all warnings from scientists and doctors
regarding the coronavirus.
It prompted him to state to the public that he
visited a hospital and was shaking hands with coronavirus patients.
A few short weeks later the public learned Johnson had contracted
the coronavirus. Then the public learned several members of his
cabinet have contracted the coronavirus.
Initially, Johnson refused to close schools, pubs
and stores, defying the suggestion of licensed medical and
scientific experts. Then the death toll began to mount in Britain
and Johnson changed course. Had Johnson acted sooner when the
experts advised him to it could have saved lives.
Boris' lockdown is insufficient, as he has not paid
enough attention to Britain's borders, with visitors streaming in
from all over the world and some have the coronavirus. Some nations
have completely suspended all incoming air, boat and train travel
for a few weeks in a bid to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Some
nations are checking passengers for coronavirus at the airport.
Boris is not doing so.
Johnson and his cabinet have done a poor job
procuring the necessary medical equipment and materials during this
crisis. They have illustrated they are terrible with procurement and
logistics. They have repeatedly dragged their feet in refusing to
spend money for vital supplies and it has made a health crisis
exponentially worse.
BBC reporter in shock reading news revealing
Britain's prime minister Boris Johnson only obtained 30
ventilators when he promised the nation 30,000:
Johnson and his cabinet have been caught in lies,
such as claiming required chemicals for testing were unavailable.
Only to be contradicted by suppliers. Johnson and his cabinet have
been caught in lies regarding the alleged unavailability of medical
gowns and masks, only for British manufacturers to come forward and
state the government did not order any though they are available.
Johnson promised Britain, a nation of 65,000,000
people that he would obtain 30,000 ventilators last month, only
to come up with 30 this past weekend. That is profoundly bad on
every level. To make matters worse, several weeks ago the European
Union offered Britain the opportunity to join a ventilator scheme
(for Britain to receive 50,000 ventilators)
and Boris told them to go away as, "We are not a member of the EU."
What was Boris' master plan to procure ventilators,
you ask? To call beleaguered U.S. President Donald Trump, who has
anxious and nervous governors all over America breathing down his
neck demanding ventilators for a nation of 327,000,000 people. Trump
was unable to help him. News outlets in America have been publicly
stating there is a ventilator shortage in the nation. Why did Boris
think Trump would have ventilators to spare that he could
immediately ship to Britain.
Johnson should have accepted the EU's offer. He made
a piss poor life or death decision on behalf of the British people
and essentially chose death in rejecting the EU. It is highly
irresponsible to make such terrible decisions in such a serious
matter.
Johnson's screw-ups have become so bad that
newspapers in the international community are writing about it.
Boris and his cabinet need to get their act together. People's lives
are depending on it.

Coronavirus: UK ‘wasting time’ on NHS protective
gear orders
29 March 2020 - UK clothes makers say
the government has wasted time in ordering personal
protective equipment for NHS staff. Fashion and textile
firms believe they could have begun making gowns and
masks for front-line workers 10 days ago.
"The government is dragging its heels
and it is really, really frustrating," said Kate Hills
from Make it British, a trade group. But the government
says it is working "around the clock" to provide support
to the NHS and social care staff.
However, factories are receiving calls
directly from local hospitals saying "can you make us
anything, we are desperate for any protective equipment,
anything that you can provide", according to Make it
