Britain's prime minister Boris Johnson

Britain’s prime minister, Boris Johnson, has been hospitalized with worsening coronavirus symptoms. Johnson was admitted to the hospital on Saturday. He is in intensive care. Secretary of State, Dominic Raab, has been running government meetings in his stead and has not been in contact with the prime minister since he was admitted to the hospital. Yesterday, Johnson’s representative stated he went to the hospital “for tests.” However, Johnson had already tested positive for the coronavirus 10-days ago.

This morning, Johnson’s representative stated he went to the hospital to get oxygen. However, I tweeted on Twitter this morning that there are portable oxygen units that could have been sent to the prime minister’s official residence of 10 Downing Street. Therefore, Johnson was admitted to hospital as he is seriously ill with coronavirus.

Hours later, Johnson’s representative stated, “Over the course of this afternoon, the condition of the Prime Minister has worsened and, on the advice of his medical team, he has been moved to the Intensive Care Unit at the hospital.”

In short, Johnson has been intubated. He has been on a ventilator for days. His situation has been closely monitored in the hospital for the past 2-days. This is why he missed national briefings for 2-days. However, he chose to have it covered up.

Johnson has been under a significant amount of scrutiny from the press and public (including me) for his poor handling of the coronavirus outbreak. First, he laughed at the deadly virus and stated he has been shaking the hands of coronavirus patients, which medical doctors do not recommend.

He refused to lockdown Britain and did not self-isolate. He kept promoting dangerous “herd immunity“ even this past Friday. This made matters worse in Britain. The nation is not under a proper lockdown. The death toll is mounting.

Johnson is surrounded by spin doctors and not medical doctors. Johnson and his cabinet “barricaded” him into his office for 10-days, when as I pointed out over a week ago, due to his medical profile (age, weight, drinker, admitted past illegal drug use) he needed licensed medical doctors and for his heart to be monitored, which meant in a hospital setting (EKG) [Prime Minister Boris Johnson Is Failing In Office At Taking An Aggressive Stance In The Fight Against The Deadly Coronavirus (Which He Has Contracted)].

It was obvious from watching his videos a week ago that Johnson was sick (though some stated the conspiracy theory that he was faking it to dodge responsibility during a crisis). However, looking at the video I immediately noticed his bloodshot eyes, labored breathing, congestion and weariness/weakness. He did not look well at all. He should have been in hospital from the start.

Over a week ago, I tweeted on the prime minister’s page and that of news sites that he needed proper medical care from licensed medical professionals and his heart needed to be monitored (which occurs in a hospital). However, he took a massive risk with his life in wanting to appear tough in the face of what is a life threatening virus. This also occurred due to his lack of acceptance of medicine and science.

As an elected head of state, one cannot do that. It is not fair to one’s nation. It is also not fair to one’s self. Here’s hoping the prime minister recovers, because coronavirus is no joke and inflicts long-term damage on the body.

In wanting to appear strong and tough, and pushing for “herd immunity” Johnson took an extraordinary risk with his life. You cannot run a country in that manner. It is dangerous to you and sets a bad example for the public, which can lead to preventable deaths.

God gave us medicine and science. There’s nothing wrong with adhering to its principles. It doesn’t make one less of a man or woman. It does not make us weak. It makes us smart and sensible.

The public needs to note what has happened to Johnson and not play around with the dangerous, insidious, painful, manmade coronavirus, in failing to practice social distancing, self-isolation and proper hygiene, regarding hand washing/sanitizing. Most of all, stay home. It can save your life and many others.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson hospitalized with virus

LONDON (AP) — British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was admitted to a hospital Sunday for tests, his office said, because he is still suffering symptoms, 10 days after he was diagnosed with COVID-19. Johnson’s office said the admission to an undisclosed London hospital came on the advice of his doctor and was not an emergency. The prime minister’s Downing St. office said it was a “precautionary step” and Johnson remains in charge of the government.

Johnson, 55, has been quarantined in his Downing St. residence since being diagnosed with COVID-19 on March 26 — the first known head of government to fall ill with the virus. Johnson has continued to preside at daily meetings on Britain’s response to the outbreak and has released several video messages during his 10 days in isolation. In a message Friday, a flushed and red-eyed Johnson said he said he was feeling better but still had a fever.

The virus causes mild to moderate symptoms in most people, but for some, especially older adults and the infirm, it can cause pneumonia and lead to death...
