U.S. President Donald Trump, his wife First Lady Melania Trump, and his close aide Hope Hicks, have contracted the coronavirus (Covid-19). The announcement was made last night on news channels in America and quickly spread across the internet. Vice President Pence and his wife Karen have tested negative.

Reports state all three are self-isolating for 2-weeks in the face of the diagnosis. This throws a wrench in far left conspiracy theories claiming Trump has a cure to coronavirus that he's hiding from the American public, as he had not caught the virus throughout the pandemic and does not wear a mask. He now has the virus.

This also confirms my concerns about the drug Hydroxychloroquine in reference to this pandemic, which the president stated he had begun taking months ago, as a preventative measure against the coronavirus (U.S. President Donald Trump Is Taking The Drug Hydroxychloroquine and FDA Revokes Emergency Use Of Hydroxychloroquine For Coronavirus).

It is a malaria drug, also approved for use in reference to lupus. It has not proven effective against coronavirus. However, it should be noted, it is being used in several nations to ease the effects of coronavirus. However, there exists no clinical evidence that it cures coronavirus.

3 and 1/2 months ago I stated on the social networking website Twitter that President Trump needs to inform his supporters to wear masks and engage in social distancing. At the time I also stated a map of coronavirus cases rising in America indicated it was doing so mostly in red states, which is the president's base (Coronavirus Cases Rising In U.S. Red States).

As the President and First Lady have contracted coronavirus, it is my hope his supporters will now wear masks and social distance. It is also my hope they will sanitize their hands, homes and offices more frequently.
