Attorney Michael Avenatti fell overnight. One minute he was in an expensive law office, working with Democrats in Congress, suing President Trump on behalf of porn star Stormy Daniels and stating he is running for president. The next he was evicted from his law office for non-payment of rent, placed under criminal investigation by Congress for lying to the legislature, loses court case to President Trump and then canceling his own planned presidential campaign.

Now he's under criminal indictment for trying to extort $25,000,000 from multi-billion dollar corporation Nike, in tax trouble with the IRS and they have seized his $4,500,000 private jet. As the saying goes, "Life comes at you fast." However, Avenatti's downfall was of his own making. He kept asserting himself in places he did not belong. For instance, lying to Congress in presenting a liar and fabricated evidence is a crime. He had no business going in there with that.

Stealing millions from clients, committing bank fraud to the tune of $4,000,000 and defrauding the IRS out of large sums of money was also a bad idea on Avenatti's part. He leased a $50,000 per law office, took out a mortgage for a multi-million dollar condo in Los Angeles, $5,000,000 mansion in Laguna Beach and leased a beach house for $100,000 monthly.

This extravagance in living so lavishly beyond his means was a terrible idea. He began "robbing Peter to pay Paul" to bankroll a lifestyle he was not entitled to, as he did not earn it. Now he is facing the potential of spending the rest of his life in prison for committing all these crimes.

Feds seize Michael Avenatti’s $4.5M plane amid tax scandal

April 11, 2019 | 12:21am - LOS ANGELES – Embattled lawyer Michael Avenatti was the subject of a federal warrant Wednesday that resulted in the seizure of his private jet, worth about $4.5 million. A U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesman, Thom Mrozek, confirmed to Fox News that federal agents seized a Honda HA-420 twin-engine jet from Santa Barbara Airport about 10 a.m. after a federal judge issued a warrant.

The plane was originally scheduled to be flown Wednesday to Orange County on Avenatti’s behalf, but pilots had to file a new flight plan to San Bernardino County. “Federal authorities have seized a jet co-owned by Mr. Avenatti pursuant to a seizure warrant issued by a federal judge. This seizure is related to the pending criminal case in Los Angeles,” a federal official told Fox News...
