U.S. House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, has refused to apologize to the American people for secretly having her hair done at a salon in San Francisco, California, in violation of coronavirus health and safety rules. Pelosi wore no mask for the salon treatment and did not engage in social distancing, which is drawing criticism, as she has publicly demanded the American people do so to tame the spread of the virus.

Pelosi answered reporters questions today about the matter and refused to accept responsibility for what occurred in her own constituency. Pelosi shifted blame to the salon, despite the fact she had her assistant call and ask for her hair to be done, in violation of San Francisco coronavirus rules. Pelosi is claiming a setup but how did she as a politician not know the government rules in her own city and state.

Pelosi put the entire U.S. Congress at risk in going to the salon and not wearing a mask or engaging in social distancing while having her hair and nails done. She could have contracted the virus, and infected Congress, her family and friends.

$88,000 has been raised for salon owner Erica Kious via the Go Fund Me website. Kious' salon is closed due to coronavirus and she is receiving death threats for going public regarding Pelosi breaking local health and safety rules. Kious was the individual that provided news outlets with CCTV footage of the house speaker in protest of Pelosi flouting the lockdown.
