U.S. House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, is under fire
for privately having a closed hair salon reopened to have her
hair and nails done in San Francisco, California. Pelosi is seen
on internal CCTV footage walking through the dimly lit salon,
wearing a robe with a towel around her neck, hair wet and no
mask on.
Nancy Pelosi breaking rules in hair salon
The Washington Times reported, "House Speaker
Nancy Pelosi get her hair styled at a shuttered San Francisco
salon this week that was supposed to be closed under the city’s
coronavirus rules — and she didn’t wear a mask. Fox News
obtained security video of Mrs. Pelosi in the salon, and the
owner told the network she was appalled at the top Democrat in
the country, calling it a 'slap in the face.'"

Pelosi's constituents are furious, as many in
the city have not been able to get their hair and nails done due
to coronavirus pandemic restrictions. People are also furious
that she was not wearing a mask or social distancing.
Nancy Pelosi
This is ironic as Pelosi has been admonishing
the American people to wear masks and social distance. While I
agree people need to wear masks and engage in social
distancing, Pelosi is a congressional leader and has to set a better
example. It cannot be, "Do as I say and not as I do."

'Slap in the face': Pelosi takes heat over trip to
shuttered hair salon
Tuesday, September 1, 2020 - House Speaker Nancy
Pelosi get her hair styled at a shuttered San Francisco salon
this week that was supposed to be closed under the city’s
coronavirus rules — and she didn’t wear a mask. Fox News
obtained security video of Mrs. Pelosi in the salon, and the
owner told the network she was appalled at the top Democrat in
the country, calling it a “slap in the face.”
Erica Kious told Fox that an independent stylist
she rents a chair to in the salon told her Mrs. Pelosi’s folks
had said they were coming in. Ms. Kious said she wasn’t sure
what to do, but figured she couldn’t control the actions of the
contract stylist. She was, however, furious at what went down.
While the stylist wore a mask, video shows Mrs.
Pelosi entering a room with wet hair and a gown, but without a
mask over her mouth. She did have something around her neck that
may have been a mask. Fox reported that San Francisco salons
were still shut down on Monday, when Mrs. Pelosi had her
appointment. They opened only for outdoor service on Tuesday...

rules by getting her hair done indoors and without a mask
10 hours ago - House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was
caught on camera getting an indoor hair appointment in San

her one customer at a time was allowed inside, a provision that

Speaker Nancy Pelosi broke San Francisco COVID-19 rules to get a
salon treatment indoors, Fox News reported.
In security footage from Tuesday shared with the
channel, the California Democrat can be seen walking through E
Salon SF, with wet hair and a mask around her neck. Her
spokesman, Drew Hammill, defended Pelosi by saying a stylist
told her that city rules allowed for one customer at a time to
have a haircut inside. He said she followed the rules "as
presented" to her.
The current San Francisco virus rules, however,
do not allow for any indoor salon treatments — only outdoor. In
the video, Pelosi is followed by another person — the stylist,
according to the channel — who is wearing a mask. The footage is
dated Monday at 3:08 p.m., according to Fox News...
