R Kelly Moved From Solitary Confinement In Chicago Jail

52-year-old pedophile, R. Kelly, has been moved from solitary confinement in jail, while awaiting trial, to the general population of the facility in downtown Chicago. The singer complained of lack of inmate privileges in solitary confinement.

Kelly lodged a complaint via his attorney, regarding lack of exercise, television, daily showers and food such as candy. However, he was placed in solitary confinement, due to what he was arrested for, pedophilia. Kelly is up on serious sexual abuse charges, regarding underage girls, in three U.S. courts of law.

Kelly has a history of sexually abusing girls as young as age 11. It is a known fact that pedophiles are beaten up and sometimes killed behind bars. Kelly's celebrity status would make him an even bigger target in a jail setting. For these two reasons Kelly was placed in solitary confinement (but some reports did state while he was isolated from the general population, he did have a cell mate).

Kelly, via his attorney, publicly referred to solitary confinement as "cruel and unusual punishment."
