Judge Tells R Kelly To ‘Step In The Name Of
Love’ When He Asks For Child Support To Be Lowered

Kelly, went to court today in an effort to have his child
support payments to ex-wife, Andrea Kelly, lowered in the
10-year-old case. Kelly was thrown in jail last week over
non-payment of $161,000 in child support payments, signifying
the payments were many months in arrears.
Kelly does not want to pay $21,000 per month in
child support. However, like his famous hit song, the judge,
Lori Rosen, told R Kelly to “Step In The Name Of Love.” Ok, the
judge didn’t use those words, I did, but it’s relevant (LOL).
No one told R Kelly to spend a fortune on his
harem of underage girls and living in luxury, while ignoring his
financial obligations to his three children, who are devastated
and distraught over his sick conduct of raping underage girls.
They are embarrassed by his behavior. It has been very difficult
for them to be his children. The one thing he could do for them,
making timely child support payments, he negligently failed to
do, putting his own selfish needs ahead of his children.
R Kelly could sell the rights to some items he
owns in the music industry to provide for his family. Instead,
he is only thinking about himself. R Kelly’s ex-wife needs to
hire a forensic account to ascertain his true financial
position. The judge needs to order a full review of R Kelly’s
assets and the money he has due to him (streaming, record sales,
music publishing).
R Kelly wrote or co-wrote a number of songs by
artists such as Aaliyah, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Diddy and Michael
Jackson that are still in rotation and bringing in money. The
judge needs to look into this angle of his finances and legally
compel full disclosure for the sake of his kids.
