Woman Tearfully Reveals Prince Philip Has Not Apologized For Car Accident That Endangered Baby’s Life And Left Her With Broken Bones

Last week, 97-year-old Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth of England, crashed his Land Rover SUV into a small Kia car containing a 9-month-old baby and two women. Thankfully the baby was unharmed, though shaken. However, the two women sustained broken bones, which is sad.

One of the women in the crash, Emma Fairweather, tearfully stated that Prince Philip did not apologize to her for the accident, that saw him unlawfully emerge from a side street without warning and smash into their car. The accident was so dangerous, the small car was totaled and Prince Philip’s SUV went careening across the street, flipping over several times. The only reason he and the other party survived is because they were all wearing seatbelts. Onlookers saw the smash and extricated Philip from the car, who was heard yelling, “Where should I put my legs.”

Police are investigating the case to ascertain if any laws have been broken. He should be treated like any other motorist in the same situation. We do know this, Prince Philip breached royal protocol in getting on the road without a protection officer, as has been reported in the mainstream press.

It was a case of reckless driving he is blaming on the sun getting in his eyes (but he was speeding, not observing the right of way or signaling). To show his defiance, Prince Philip had another Land Rover delivered the next day and got behind the wheel again by himself. The Range Rover and Land Rover are great vehicles, but Prince Philip's conduct is not so.

Prince Philip’s dangerous driving is well-known in the area. Others have come forward complaining about it. The Mirror newspaper in London also ran a story regarding Prince Philip threatening to put the Queen out of a vehicle, because she whelped in fear at his reckless driving. There are also articles containing quotes regarding Prince Charles expressing concern over his father’s wild driving. Therefore, this is an ongoing problem and one that needs to be addressed.

For the safety of the public, Prince Philip needs to surrender his drivers license before something worse happens. Some older people can drive well. However, he has clearly exhibited he is not one of them. Furthermore, he has the luxury of hiring someone to chauffer him wherever he wishes. Please take up that option for the safety of pedestrians and motorists in Britain. You could have killed a little baby.

I’m not against the concept of royalty. It can be good for tourism in different nations who still subscribe to this model. However, when royals begin thinking and acting like they are better than others and become a liability to the nation by engaging in acts that offend or cause harm, as in the case of this road accident that was completely preventable and could have been fatal to an infant, they are not representing themselves in a positive manner. Nations are better off with scandal free royals.

The royal family needs to reevaluate their behavior, as there are so many incidents of misconduct and scandal emanating from them. They are on course for a future Labour government to abolish them. Incidents like the aforementioned crash is not helping their case.
