Taylor Swift's Acting Career In The
Toilet As 'Cats' Loses $100,000,000

Taylor Swift in the movie "Cats"
Pop singer Taylor Swift is not a big box
office draw. Hollywood is finding this out much to its
horror, as Swift's starring role in "Cats" spectacularly
bombed at the box office, grossing $6,500,000 in its
opening weekend. The studio tried to rush out another
edit of the film, but that failed as well.
Variety magazine stated Universal has
lost over $100,000,000 on "Cats." This makes "Cats" one
of the biggest movie flops of all time. Things got so
bad, the studio pulled the film from Oscar consideration
(as reported in Forbes), lest the get laughed out of
town.
It does not spell good news for Swift's
acting career having her name attached to such a massive
flop. It has placed her film career firmly in the toilet
before it ever got a chance to get off the ground.
Behind the scenes, the studios have now labeled her box
office poison, which means they will be very reluctant
to spend any decent money on any film she stars in, for
fear of a repeat of "Cats."
