Carrie Underwood

Deceitful, thieving "American Idol" singer Carrie Underwood has been sued for committing copyright infringement. Underwood's "Game On" track that she sold to the National Football League (NFL) in America, and obtained payment to appear in a video for, which is aired before games, is a rip-off of a preexisting song of the same title, by singer/songwriter Heidi Merrill. 

In 2016 Merrill and three associates wrote a song called "Game On" that she posted to YouTube.com in March 2017. It has nearly 700,000 views on YouTube.com. Over a year later, Underwood released "Game On" which the lawsuit states is "substantially - even strikingly - similar, if not identical."

Underwood is fraudulently and criminally given songwriter's credit for "Game On." Copyright infringement is a crime in America and the international community. Merrill also states she met Underwood's producer Mark Bright, when she pitched the song "Game On" to him in Nashville. This proves "access" under copyright law (the legal term for how the infringers accessed the work).

I've heard the two songs and that is definitely copyright infringement. You can't copyright a title, but it goes well beyond being the same title. There are similar lyrics, melodies and music between the two songs indicating infringement. It is clear Underwood stole the song.

I know firsthand Underwood is a thief and fraud. She won a Grammy for a song criminally stolen from my preexisting copyrighted catalog, which I registered in the Library of Congress and is time stamp verified elsewhere, YEARS before she stole it (as mentioned previously on this site).

The whole "American Idol" "Pop Idol" and "X-Factor" series, with music distributed by Sony, is built on theft and lies. Sony is the most thieving, copyright infringing company in existence. Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller, who own the shows, whose premise are also based on preexisting, stolen copyrights, are nothing but two degenerate thieves. They've also schooled their artists to behave in the same thieving, illegal manner.

None of the "American Idol" "Pop Idol" and "X-Factor" recording artists write their own music. Cowell, Fuller and Sony steal items and give to them, and they knowingly receive the stolen goods, putting their names on tunes as songwriter, knowing full well they did not write any of these tracks. Cowell and Fuller also get a large cut in proceeds from the stolen songs, via music publishing rights. Sony is also home to massive industry thief Beyonce (Beyonce And Jay Z Copyright Infringement).

If is a crime to steal copyrights. It is a crime to receive stolen copyrights. In my case, the manner in which they were illegally procured, used and profited from without my consent, constitutes many felonies. I gave absolutely no one any permission in any manner to use any of my copyrights. They've also used it for things that go against my religious beliefs.

Underwood likes to hide behind excuses, but she is a complete and utter fraud, whose deceitful, thieving and greedy conduct goes against everything Nashville says it stands for in life. I know this firsthand regarding her criminal conduct. Underwood put her fraudulent name as songwriter on songs I'd written and copyrighted years prior. The law firm of Sanders, Squire and Dempsey discovered my copyrights are being illegally passed around A&R departments in Hollywood. Madonna, who has been on "American Idol" and shares the same music publisher and lawyers as Simon Cowell and Simon Fuller, illegally passed copies of my preexisting copyrights to them, an, then used them verbatim on their shows like "American Idol."

My dad, who is an award winning radio host and musicologist, has appeared in documentaries, on television shows, DVDs and in many publications such as Time magazine and on sites such as Reuters and the Associated Press, had a radio show in Jamaica for over 25-years, which was also received in America, Britain, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the rest of the Caribbean. My dad's show was on the air from the 1990s (he's now retired).

In 2002, Cowell began criminally exploiting my PREEXISTING copyrighted music, videos and films, and my dad's on air persona (it's not really a persona, as that's who my dad is, very highly critical of what good music should sound like). Cowell, who was an A&R man in London, ripped-off my dad's style of harshly critiquing recording artists, some of whom he had banter with on the air during his radio show. That whole persona of Cowell's is completely put on and contrived. He's faking it. 

There was also an incident when one of Cowell's co-workers from London, Louis Walsh, who appeared on his TV show "X-Factor" tried to approach me at Aventura Mall in Miami, near where I live in Florida. He kept walking towards me and looking me in the face. I instantly recognized him and gave him the dirtiest look when I realized he was coming up to me. Then, he quickly turned the other way.

Cowell even cast Alesha Dixon, originally of the music group Mis-teeq, on his show "X-Factor." My mom and two of the mothers of the girls in Mis-Teeq know each other from decades ago in Jamaica. My cousin in London was also the doctor of the group. Cowell got the idea to cast Alesha from illegal wiretaps Madonna's private investigator, Anthony Pellicano, had placed on my phone lines (I was interviewed by the FBI twice about Pellicano, gave them evidence, and 4-months later they arrested him).

These people have so perversely invaded my privacy and exploited me and my family to sick degrees. Madonna, Cowell, Fuller and company are nothing but but a bunch of thieving, dirty slavetraders. The people in this Hollywood cult are trash. Nothing out there in Hollywood is real. The Hollywood cult are nothing but thieving, underachieving idiots, bullies and degenerates. They also behave like a bunch of dirty slavetraders. To be doing such a thing, especially in modern times, tells the world you are human garbage.

Singer Sues Carrie Underwood, NBC & NFL Over “Game On” Copyright Infringement

June 21, 2019 - Singer/songwriter Heidi Merrill filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Carrie Underwood, NBC and the NFL over “Game On,” the 2018 theme song to Sunday Night Football. According to the lawsuit, Heidi claims that her song, “Game On,” which she penned with three others in 2016, recorded and posted to YouTube in 2017, is “substantially—even strikingly—similar, if not identical” to Carrie’s version of the song, which was co-penned by Carrie, Chris DeStefano and Brett James.

Heidi also claims she met Carrie’s producer, Mark Bright, at an event in Nashville and pitched the song to him. Heidi and the co-writers of the song have named Carrie, Mark Bright, NBC, the NFL, Sony Corp., Warner Music Group and more as co-defendants in the lawsuit, which was filed in New York on June 19...
