This time last year disgraced Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein ran the movie industry with an iron fist. This year he was forced to watch the Academy Awards telecast from a television in rehab for alleged sex addiction, which doctors do not recognize as a medical disorder.

Meryl Streep, who was at the Academy Awards, used to be one of Weinstein's top supporters due to roles he gave her and assistance with winning awards, but she has since denounced him due to the rape and sexual assault scandal he is currently in

Weinstein has been accused of sexually harassing, sexually assault and raping over 100 famous and non-famous women. Yet prior to October 2017, when the New York Times, then New Yorker magazine did a set of exposés on him, he was the man in Hollywood who could get you an Oscar. This year, he wasn’t even invited to the show. As they say, “How the mighty have fallen.” And it happened overnight.

It should be a lesson to any arrogant, abusive industry individual, engaging in unlawful conduct. It can all be taken away overnight. For a number of you it will be….even some of you who think you’re too big to fail or jail. Yet, who in that industry was bigger than Weinstein. Think about that the next time you decide to abuse someone.
