A man has been arrested for raping a woman on South Beach, which is a town in Miami Beach, Florida. A tourist from France was raped at a hostel on Miami Beach by 61-year-old Joel Bush. The unnamed woman and her boyfriend were partying at a local Miami Beach night club. She left early as she was tired and returned to the hostel.

The violence has reached all time highs on Miami Beach since lockdown ended in other U.S. states regarding the coronavirus pandemic. Florida did not have a proper lockdown. In the month of March 2020 there was a mini lockdown with light restrictions. However, the state has been wide open for 90% of the pandemic.

Florida governor Ron DeSantis has been begging people to come to Florida, painting it as a restriction free state, due to seeking money because of the massive loss in tourism and trade revenues from the pandemic. However, his invitation has driven up the crime rate in Florida and police are overcome by the problems.

People who were in other U.S. states on lockdown for many months have been coming to Florida and cutting loose, but some have done so in a very criminal manner.
