FCC Rules AI Generated Robocalls Cloning The Voices Of Others Are Illegal (Confirming Previous Site Claims)

This is a follow up to the February 7, 2024 article "Madonna And Her Hollywood Cult Kabbalah Are Engaging In Illegal Wiretapping, Phone Spoofing And Telephone Impersonation In Criminal Conduct That Constitutes Felonies" where I wrote about washed up, psychotic pop singer, Madonna, and her deranged Hollywood cult, Kabbalah, using artificial intelligence (AI) technology to imitate my voice and that of my mother, while illegally wiretapping, phone hacking and hijacking our mobile phone lines. The AI generated imitations by Madonna's cult hackers targeted our family and friends with damaging and offensive speech.

The next day (today) the United States FCC (Federal Communications Commission) ruled AI generated robocalls cloning/imitating others voices are illegal. Reuters reported today, "US agency declares AI cloned voice robocalls illegal - The declaratory ruling gives state attorneys general new tools to go after the entities behind the robocalls, FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel said. 'Bad actors are using AI-generated voices in unsolicited robocalls to extort vulnerable family members, imitate celebrities, and misinform voters. We’re putting the fraudsters behind these robocalls on notice,' Rosenworcel said."

Reuters further reported, "'Voice cloning,' the FCC said, 'can convince a called party that a trusted person, or someone they care about such as a family member, wants or needs them to take some action that they would not otherwise take.'"

February 8, 20242:06 PM EST - WASHINGTON, Feb 8 (Reuters) - Calls made with AI-generated voices are illegal, the Federal Communications Commission said on Thursday, after a fake robocall imitating President Joe Biden sought to dissuade people from voting for him in New Hampshire's Democratic primary election.

The declaratory ruling gives state attorneys general new tools to go after the entities behind the robocalls, FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel said.
"Bad actors are using AI-generated voices in unsolicited robocalls to extort vulnerable family members, imitate celebrities, and misinform voters. We’re putting the fraudsters behind these robocalls on notice," Rosenworcel said.

The FCC noted that state attorneys generals previously could target the outcome of an unwanted AI-voice-generated robocall, but the new action makes the act of using AI to generate a voice in these robocalls itself illegal...
