World Governments Need To Pass Meaningful Legislation Regarding Social Networking

World governments need to pass meaningful legislation regarding regulating discrimination and censorship on social networking, particularly the U.S. Congress, as Silicon Valley is located in California. The ongoing scandals pummeling Facebook for spying on users and selling data to third parties without permission, is reason enough. However, select political parties are being discriminated against by social networking companies, who are all left leaning.

A number of conservatives, centrists and libertarians have lost their voice on social networking, while some, not all on the liberal left have engaged in egregious behavior, including racial slurs and threats, but have not lost their accounts. That is a discriminatory, hypocritical double standard.

Accounts of conservatives, centrists and libertarians have been corruptly stripped of likes and followers in conduct that can only be described as rigged. While liberals are being heavily promoted and featured on social networking in search results and page suggestions.

Liberals are receiving prominent placement, while conservatives, centrists and libertarians are constantly being censored and penalized via the corrupt removal of likes and followers, in a system that keeps showing itself to be absolutely rigged by political interests on the left. This constitutes violations of free speech laws in the West, as well as preexisting legislation barring discrimination.

You cannot open up a service to the public, a social networking site, then criminally discriminate against and censor those who have a lawful political opinion that deviates from your own. It’s a disaster waiting to happen. It’s already severely damaged Facebook, who are hemorrhaging money. It is going to wreak havoc on other social networking sites as well if this discrimination and censorship does not stop.

At the end of the day government entities such as the FBI, CIA and select politicians (Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi, among others) should not be meddling in social networking corporations. Obama already got Google (and the IRS) into trouble via his obsessive meddling and unbalanced obsession with financial and social harming those he deems adversaries. It created an embarrassing scandal that will forever be attached to his name.

These social networking companies employ tens of thousands of people and contribute to the economy. The political left needs to get its nose out of things it did not create, lest they end up destroying multi-billion dollar companies they can‘t afford to replace. That’s called putting your personal agenda ahead of the financial welfare of your country and it's disgraceful.
