Will Congress Reform The NSA
December 19. 2013
President Barack Obama
The NSA scandal regarding revelations of the agency's illegal
PRISM program that has been spying on Americans in violation of the
U.S. Constitution, has been one of the top stories of the year.
Former NSA contractor Edward Snowden provided the nation and world
with proof of the illegal program's existence as he rightly stated
it is violating the Constitution.
Members of Congress have spoken out against PRISM, as well as a
U.S. Circuit Court judge. Some in Congress have promised reforms,
but will they truly bring them into being or become fearful of the
NSA, CIA, FBI and White House coming after them in surreptitious
ways.
