Did Attorney General Eric Holder Destroying Illegal NSA Files Constitute Obstruction Of Justice June 11. 2013 Eric Holder According to a recent press report, it was discovered disgraced Attorney General Eric Holder, destroyed incriminating files revealing under his direction, the NSA illegally spied on innocent Americans. As Holder is an employee of the United States government, destroying incriminating files constitutes obstruction of justice. It is the equivalent of destroying evidence in a case. Where are the "checks and balances?" Where is the oversight? Where is the rule of law? Where is the accountability in that a corrupt, scandal prone sitting Attorney General can make the call to destroy evidence of serious wrongdoing on the administration's part. It amounts to a criminal cover up.
