The FBI Retaliated Against President Donald Trump For Firing Leaker James Comey By Opening The Russian Investigation (Video)

The New York Times has issued a report stating the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) opened a criminal investigation into President Donald Trump and alleged ties to Russia, because he fired the head of the agency, James Comey, for being a leaker and lying under oath in Congress. Since Comey’s firing a number of his subordinates have been fired or resigned.

Senator Lindsay Graham slammed corruption at the FBI and DOJ in relation to the revenge case, “I’ve seen no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians, but I’ve seen a lot of corruption at the Department of Justice and FBI.” In reference to potential Attorney General Bill Barr he stated, “I think he’s going to look long and hard at the Department of Justice and the FBI and the way they conducted the Clinton investigation and the way they started-up the Mueller investigation.”

January 14, 2019 - In a Friday night news dump, the New York Times revealed the FBI’s surprisingly flimsy justification for launching a retaliatory investigation into President Donald Trump, their chief adversary during their recent troubled era. Admitting there is no actual evidence for their probe into whether Trump “worked for the Russians,” FBI officials instead cited their foreign policy differences with him, his lawful firing of bungling FBI Director James Comey, and alarm that he accurately revealed to the American public that he was told he wasn’t under investigation by the FBI, when they preferred to hide that fact.

The news was treated as a bombshell, and it was, but not for the reasons many thought. It wasn’t news that the FBI had launched the investigation. Just last month, CNN reported that top FBI officials opened an investigation into Trump after the lawful firing of Comey because Trump “needed to be reined in,” a shocking admission of abuse of power by our nation’s top law enforcement agency.
