The Estate Of Rapper DMX Is
Said To Be Worth $50,000 Which Is Wildly Inaccurate
Indicating He Was Defrauded

Reports indicate the late rapper,
DMX, who died on April 9, 2021 after receiving a
coronavirus vaccine, left an estate worth $50,000,
which is extremely low for a recording artist who
has sold over 23,000,000 albums in America. His
debut album alone sold 5,000,000 copies. DMX had six
albums debut at #1 on the music charts. He also sold
over 10,000,000 singles in America. Worldwide sales
bring his album tally up to a reported 74,000,000
copies.
DMX also co-wrote his songs, many of which were top
hits and radio staples, which translates into
millions of dollars in music publishing royalties.
Publishing can be worth more than the album sales
when you have big radio hits. The record label would
send DMX the beats and he would write the lyrics.
His publishing split should have been hefty.
DMX also appeared as an actor in several movies and
filmed a reality show. DMX’s estate should have been
worth upward of $50,000,000. It’s clear he was being
defrauded and due to his drug habit, things went
unnoticed or unchallenged.
DMX’s family needs a good lawyer to formally conduct
audits of his record label and management company.
They also need to look into how much he received for
films he starred in, because as we saw with former
Hollywood mogul and convicted rapist, Harvey
Weinstein, he didn’t pay scores of actors and
filmmakers for their work, making his company’s
bankruptcy filing due to his rape cases, quite ugly
and contentious.
There is a significant amount of fraud and robbery
going on in Hollywood, which is a den of thieves.
You see it with the lies told about the film “Coming
To America” allegedly not making any money or profit
according to the studio, Paramount. Then upon
further inspection in the 1980s Buchwald v.
Paramount lawsuit, it was discovered the infringing
film made a significant amount of money (over
$350,000,000 to date). Hollywood is full of thieving
liars and frauds.
Another case is the passing of singer
Whitney Houston. Her estate only had
$20,000,000, when it should have been close to
$300,000,000. Whitney sold more music than any other
female artist in history and starred in hit films.
Whitney had several hit tours and many lucrative
endorsements.
Another famous case is that of the
late teen singer, Frankie Lymon. He died broke in
1968. However, his music publisher, Morris Levy, had
stolen $4,000,000 in royalties from Lymon which he
never saw in his lifetime. An ugly court case ensued
among Lymon's heirs.
For the sake of DMX’s children, many
of whom are minors, a good lawyer/law firm needs to
be hired on contingency at a reasonable rate/percent
to figure out what happened to all his money.
