The British Economy Set To Lose Trillions Confirming Previous Site Predictions October 29. 2018
Theresa May This is a follow up to the September 3, 2018 article "Three Windrush People Wrongly Deported By Theresa May Have Died" where I stated "I predict May's hostile environment will cost Britain trillions of pounds, among other things, as she and Cameron ran off people the United Kingdom needed and the financial cost of having done so will become fully apparent in the not too distant future." 2-weeks later, the widely read Spiegel.de website reported breaking news that Deutsche Bank publicly declared they will remove nearly £1 trillion from Britain after Brexit. Spiegel wrote, "The ECB calls on European commercial banks to transfer capital from their London branches to the continent for safety's sake. Alone at Deutsche Bank is about hundreds of billions of euros." Oh, it didn't end there. Nearly 2-months later, on October 26, 2018, the Politics Means Politics blog reported, "Britain BLOCKED from $1.7 trillion in post-Brexit WTO projects." The World Trade Organization (WTO) has cut Britain out of a massive government procurement agreement, worth $1.7 trillion, and the root of it is British Prime Minister Theresa May's self-professed "hostile environment" towards immigrants and foreign visitors: "The U.S., New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Ukraine, Israel and Moldova have all blocked Britain’s post-Brexit entry into the World Trade Organization’s Government Procurement Agreement, a market worth $1.7 Trillion. And while the first six big players on that list may eventually (after perhaps years of hard negotiations) give in with separate trade deals, with the last one – the small country of Moldova – it’s unlikely. Because it’s personal. This is because Theresa May – in an effort to look tough on immigration – made the inexplicable and utterly disastrous decision last year to deny visas to a Moldovan government delegation which wanted to visit the UK on a trade mission. Corina Cojocaru – an adviser to the Moldova government – and her team were arrogantly denied entry to the U.K. in 2017 when they wanted to discuss their country’s future relationship with Britain after it leaves the European Union." May's vile, financially damaging "hostile environment" contributed to Britain losing a large cut of the WTO deal worth nearly $2 trillion dollars, in what is a massive financial snub. Previously, I wrote about David Cameron and Theresa May's hateful conduct in denying productive foreigners visas, after they were requested by British corporations and organizations, such as the National Health Service (NHS) and companies in the field of science and technology (Theresa May Blocked All Visas For Indian Doctors Who Sought To Practice Medicine In Britain To Alleviate NHS Labor Shortages and Theresa May’s Appalling Treatment Of Foreign Doctors, Scientists, IT Specialists And Students Is Damaging The British Economy To The Tune Of Billions ). It is one of the most unwise, economically self-defeating things I have ever seen a world leader do. She has gone overboard with it and it's proving very costly. May's obsession with keeping people out of Britain is now costing the nation trillions. May's xenophobic hatred for the Commonwealth and the European Union is awful. It's disgusting to treat friends like enemies, but that's exactly what she has been doing and to Britain's detriment. She has burned bridges instead of building them. The term "hostile environment" is going to live in infamy in British and world history. I'm not in favor of uncontrolled immigration in any nation. Governments must be able to keep accurate track of who is in their nations and why. I have stated this is past articles. However, controlled immigration of productive, law abiding people is smart and healthy for any nation. Some do not understand the predicament Britain was in after World War I and World War II. There were 1,000,000 British fatalities in both wars (soldiers and civilians). Many job posts were now largely vacant in various regions of the country, regarding vital jobs needed to make a country run. These labor shortages damaged Britain. Another factor was many places in Britain were bombed, turned into rubble and needed to be rebuilt. Labor shortages hampered those efforts again. The British government looked to the Commonwealth, mostly the Caribbean, to remedy the problem of massive labor shortages and the population declines that occurred from war fatalities. The British government announced in the 1940s that Commonwealth citizens are being asked to come to Britain to help rebuild the country after the war and fill vacant job positions needed to help the country run properly. Over 100,000 Caribbean people lawfully immigrated to Britain under this formal call from the British government and were told they would be given "the same rights as Britons" and referred to them as "citizens" as well. It was automatic citizenship. For several decades this stood. However, a few short years ago, Theresa May decided to secretly and unlawfully revoke their citizenship that had been automatically granted by the British government decades ago. It is the single most evil thing I have seen a modern British Prime Minister do to the Commonwealth. It's also the most stupid. Britain is leaving the European Union. It is creating labor shortages regarding doctors, nurses, scientists, professors, teachers and lawyers, among others, who have been leaving Britain due to Brexit and May's "hostile environment." People don't like living under that uncertainty. They don't want to risk their futures in a nation where the xenophobic Prime Minister could just jump up again and start unlawfully deporting people, as she disgracefully did with the Windrush generation. The NHS is openly stating they are losing valuable medical staff, who are returning to the European Union due to Brexit and the "hostile environment." As a result, the British mortality rate skyrocketed this year. Over 20,000 people more than usual died. The NHS is under-funded and under-staffed due to May's conduct that has resulted in EU citizens leaving Britain. Once again, Britain is headed for another massive labor shortage, similar to what occurred after the world wars. May has burned bridges with the citizens of the European Union and Commonwealth, who are afraid to risk their futures immigrating to a nation with such an unstable, xenophobic head of state illegally and summarily deporting people to reach her unscientific, idiotic immigration quotas. Britain has brilliant scientists. One of you please tell me where May is getting these figures from, as they don't compute or plug into any known statistical models. That was rhetorical, because I know what she is doing regarding these immigration targets is pure crap that cannot be quantified by science or any available historical/statistical data. May has put her hatred for foreigners ahead of the welfare of her country and Britain is paying the price for it in lost lives and revenues. That's the sign of a bad leader. Austerity should mean the government making sacrifices. Instead members of the government have gotten raises, as have the royal family. The people who needed it the least received the most. I don't agree with that, especially when it's done on state funds. What's also alarming is the Brexit stance of politicians such as Nigel Farage and Boris Johnson. They want to ram Brexit through, consequences be damned. Farage actually stated "it's a small price to pay for our freedom." Really, Kunta Kinte Farage. I wasn't aware the EU had enslaved you in chains, shipped you across the Atlantic like sardines in a tin and are making you work for free. The problem is Farage supports fringe groups in Britain, who want to rid the nation of all foreigners. He has spoken at their events. Farage wants all foreigners who were not born in the United Kingdom and of British lineage, sent back to their ancestral countries. Therefore, that hate, xenophobia and racism are what's driving his behavior regarding Brexit, not logic, humanity, compassion and the financial welfare of the nation. Both parties need to come together and solve this problem. Britain is in for a terrible surprise if Brexit goes through. It will create a domino effect of financial problems the government is not anticipating, as the current leadership did not properly prepare. I stated 2-years ago, days after the Brexit vote went through that job creation must be the focus. May largely ignored the job market. She's made a few small trade deals, but not enough to keep Britain afloat or spur the correct kind of job growth. I've repeatedly stated on this site and on Twitter that Britain needs to create its own tech sector. It would be an easy way to create many jobs and so many Britons of working age know how to use a computer. I've also stated in past articles that Britain needs to ramp up manufacturing. For the past 20-years Britain has shifted more towards relying on the banking industry and real estate market for revenues. As Brexit is taking its toll, the banking industry and real estate markets are experiencing job and revenue declines.
My tweets on my Twitter page last month on the subject Over the past two decades the British government strayed away from good old manufacturing. When you think of the fact that Britain invented the internet, yet has no tech sector, invented the drug Ibuprofen, yet funding for medical and scientific invention is greatly lagging, you can see where the government went wrong. Meanwhile, a former British colony, India, has recognized the importance of manufacturing, and has overtaken Britain to become the fifth largest economy in the world. STORY SOURCE Due to Brexit Deutsche Bank, billions will probably be withdrawn from London Monday, 17.09.2018 15:34 - The ECB calls on European commercial banks to transfer capital from their London branches to the continent for safety's sake. Alone at Deutsche Bank is about hundreds of billions of euros. According to finance circles, Deutsche Bank wants to relocate a large part of its balance sheet from Great Britain to Germany after Brexit . The bank is currently managing major areas of investment banking from London . She said she would be relocating claims from the European Central Bank (ECB), a person familiar with the plans told Reuters. The size and complexity of the UK business should be reduced. Bank supervisors at the ECB fear that they would no longer have sufficient control over the institution's capital and liquidity after Britain's exit from the EU. According to a report by the Financial Times, the bank could transfer about three quarters of the 600 billion euros that it currently has in London to Frankfurt. That could take three to five years or even longer. Possibly, the business of the British branch would be smaller than that of the US holding, which has $ 145 billion on the balance sheet, the report said. In contrast to the US, Deutsche Bank does not have its own subsidiary in London, but only a branch which does not prepare its own balance sheet...
