Global sensation Susan Boyle, 48, has placed second in the Britain's Got Talent competition, losing to a dance troupe named Diversity. She should be proud of what she's accomplished, in shattering so many stereotypes and bringing diversity to music, pardon the pun. Well done.

But don't feel sorry for Boyle. She's set to make $7,000,000 in appearance fees and endorsements. Hardly a loser in this, now is she. Not to mention, her late mom would be proud that she carved out a niche for herself.
