Sun
Pharmaceutical Industries Stock Declines Again Under
Boycott
April 23. 2026

Richard Ascroft (CEO of Sun
Pharmaceutical Industries in America)
This is a follow up to the April 17,
2026 article "Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Stock Is Plunging Under Site Boycott (Bactrim)."
This past Monday, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries
stock dropped AGAIN under the boycott I called for
on this site. The stock has declined by 10% over the
past few months since I called for the boycott.
As stated previously on the site, Sun Pharmaceutical
Industries' antibiotic drug Bactrim has killed over 300 people in America
including children. Bactrim has also killed and sickened people in
Britain. In Britain, Bactrim is called Septra, and was the subject of
United Kingdom Parliamentary hearings, where people who damaged by the
drug or those whose loved ones had died, gave their stories. Septra (Bactrim)
was pulled from approved use in Britain years ago.

Dilip Shanghvi (founder and
Managing Director of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries)
Bactrim nearly killed my mom in
Miami, Florida in 2023, which led me to investigate
then denounce the drug as very damaging and
potentially deadly, as U.S. National Institute of
Health (NIH) official journal articles illustrate.
Recently, I helped my mom sue Sun Pharmaceutical
Industries in New Jersey (it is an Indian company
but its U.S. headquarters is in New Jersey) and
Florida (where the drug was prescribed to my mom in
Miami) over their drug causing organ failure and
nearly killing her in 2023.
The Statute of Limitations was about to run out and the
matter needed to be filed in court. Even if she doesn't win the cases, the
boycott will punish Sun Pharmaceutical Industries with significant revenue
declines for not doing better. I'll tell you why I state that.

lung failure
In New Jersey, Sun Pharmaceutical
Industries is represented in the case by the
Pietragallo law firm. The main lawyer is Jason
Reefer. He contacted me before my mom's case was
even served on the New Jersey headquarters and asked
me to waive service (as did a Sun Pharmaceutical
Industries representative a couple weeks prior to
that). Both apologized for the damage the drug
Bactrim caused my mom (which is well-documented in
medical records, photos and videos). The damage
can't be questioned. I even had to rush her to the
hospital as she was becoming unresponsive because
Bactrim was killing her. Taking care of her has cost
me an extra $30,000 I from my science and medical
patent work.
However, when I stated in an email to their attorney Jason
Reefer and copied it (cc) to select Sun Pharmaceutical Industries
representatives, regarding issues such as settling the case in good faith
(they did after all admit liability in the apology), and informed them I
would never support Bactrim, but they need to fix Bactrim (clean up the
formula, as the drug Bactrim is killing people and terribly disabling
others) and clean up their factories, as they pose a public health risk
(the U.S. and Chinese government separately and publicly cited Sun
Pharmaceutical Industries for contaminants in their factories that are
damaging the company's pharmaceutical drugs) they got upset.

Bactrim
That let me know all I needed to
about the situation. I was trying to ascertain: 1)
how much was the law firm and how much was the
pharma company in decisions being made regarding
victims of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries drugs, 2)
if they don't care about the government citations
from America and China about their factories
contaminants and 3) most of all if they were open to
changing the Bactrim formula to stop it from killing
and disabling members of the global public.
The mere fact they got angry at my reasonable suggestions
in the email, which would promote public health and safety and stop their
drug Bactrim from killing or disabling people, says to me they don't give
a darn about the public. They only care about revenues. They are putting
profit before public safety. So, let the boycott continue as Sun
Pharmaceutical Industries richly deserves it.
Boycott the drug Bactrim. There are better antibiotics on
the market. Additionally, Boycott the Sun Pharmaceutical Industries
dementia drug, Rivastigmine Hydrogen Tartrate, as the Chinese government
suspended its sale in China over product failure, and contamination and
safety issues in the company's plants in India (Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Factory Suspended By The Chinese
Government After Failing Several U.S. Government Safety Inspections
Confirming Previous Site Claims Their Drugs Are Dangerous And Deadly).
