The impeachment trial of former U.S. president,
Donald Trump, continues in the Senate. The Democrats presented video
footage of the president speaking to his supporters on January 6,
2021, right before the riots occurred.
The president is maintaining his innocence. However,
Democrats are angry, as they deem Trump embarrassed and humiliated
Congress all over the world via the incident that had them running
for their lives and cowering in their offices.
In spite of the fact Democrats in Congress have made
lengthy arguments and played many video clips of the January 6, 2021
riots, Republicans are stating they are unwilling to convict Trump
in the trial and deem the case unconstitutional, as one must be in
office to be impeached.
