SAG-AFTRA Is Probing Simon Cowell Show 'America's Got Talent' Over Claims Of Racism And A Hostile Work Environment As Seen In Gabrielle Union Complaint

December 3. 2019

"America's Got Talent" hosts Howie Mandell, Gabrielle Union, Julianne Hough and Simon Cowell

SAG-AFTRA are probing the claims of actress Gabrielle Union that she was subjected to racist conduct in a hostile work environment on the television show "America's Got Talent" (Gabrielle Union Fired From 'America's Got Talent' For Looking Too Black And Complaining Of Racist Incidents On The Show). NBC, who airs "America's Got Talent" is also set to meet with Union regarding what transpired.

Union was repeatedly sent notes about her hairstyles being too African-American and she understandably took offense at the producers' conduct. It was done on the orders of the show's racist owner, Simon Cowell, who has a ugly history of criminally exploiting black people.

When Union was hired for the show, she had previously appeared on television and in film wearing long, straight extensions. However, when she was hired, she had already begun embracing her natural hair more, as seen on her day to day social networking posts.

By the time Union appeared on "America's Got Talent" she had already begun wearing her natural hair more and there's nothing wrong with that. However, it displeased superficial Cowell, who hires very few black women and when he does, they routinely look mixed or white.

Union fell out of favor with Cowell even more when she began complaining about racism on the show, such as a contestant wearing blackface, being allowed to go through the competition. Union also complained about comedian Jay Leno slurring Korean people behind the scenes. Due to the aforementioned reasons, Union was fired. However, under U.S. laws such a termination is rooted in discrimination, and is therefore illegal.

Side Bar: "America's Got Talent" is nothing but a copyright infringing rip-off of the 1980s show "It's Showtime At The Apollo." He was sued for stealing "American Idol" from a man who pitched it to him at his office. Everything that Cowell releases is criminally stolen in acts of criminal copyright infringement. The man is a complete thief and fraud. The law is going to catch up with him and so will world history.
