Rihanna Surfaces And Issues Statement February 20. 2009
Rihanna's Publicist Issues Statement "At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time." source: TMZ The Truth Chris Brown's career is ruined. The truth should be told as to what Rihanna said and did that set him off that night. Yes, her silence has to do with the case, but I was informed she is concerned about losing public sympathy if the truth comes out. It certainly wouldn’t justify his conduct, but it would show the public who she is as a person. Family Discredited
Three days before TMZ released the Rihanna assault photo, I refuted her cousin and uncle’s claims that her injuries are not as bad as everyone made them out to be (February 16, 2009 article). Do the injuries in the above posted photo look minimal to you. Yet, days later after my article, when the photo was unveiled yesterday, it showed her injuries were not minor and ghastly looking. It turns out Rihanna and her family had done what I accused them of days prior, in attempting to “minimize her injures.” Why did her family lie. The majority of people who’ve seen the photo since yesterday, think it looks pretty bad. As a result, her family members that spoke out before the photo's release have now been discredited. Why lie about something so serious, like she just got a little scratch. TMZ Paid For Photo According to the Media Buffet web site, TMZ paid an employee of the LAPD $62,500 for a copy of the Rihanna assault photo. I’m not surprised, as they specialize in invasion of privacy at Warner Bros, who owns TMZ. Previously, TMZ paid money for a copy of O.J. Simpson’s unreleased copyrighted book manuscript “If I Did It.” They unlawfully published it online ahead of its release, devaluing it and reducing sales. Rihanna's Dad Upset with LAPD over Photo Leak Rihanna's dad is disappointed with the way the Los Angeles police are handling his daughter's domestic violence case, he tells PEOPLE. "Sloppy work on their part," says Ronald Fenty, speaking to PEOPLE via telephone from Barbados Friday, shortly after the emergence of a graphic photo Thursday reportedly showing Rihanna's injuries from the alleged assault by boyfriend Chris Brown. |
