In January of this year, Prince Philip, the husband of Queen Elizabeth of England, was speeding and accidentally caused a serious accident. Philip hit a vehicle carrying two women and an infant. She sustained two broken arms, a broken leg, a broken pelvis and head injury. She is listed in critical condition. A broken pelvis is a very dangerous injury for an elderly woman.

A witness stated a police officer in William and Kate's convoy, who hit the elderly woman, was driving on the wrong side of the street.
