President Obama Cancels Russia Trip
After President Putin Grants NSA Leaker Edward Snowden Asylum
August 7. 2013
Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin
U.S. President Barack Obama has cancelled his scheduled visit to
Russia, after President Vladimir Putin granted American NSA whistle
blower, Edward Snowden asylum in their nation. Many have applauded the
Russian government’s decision - Obama is not one of them.
Edward Snowden
Snowden leaked evidence regarding the illegal NSA program PRISM
which secretly spies on innocent Americans over the phone and online,
in violation of the Constitution, confirming what I had revealed online
several years prior (NSA
Workers Admit To Reading The Emails And Listening To The Calls Of
Americans In Violation Of The Law). For the sake of U.S. and Russian
ties, Obama needs to put his feelings aside and reschedule his visit.
It would be a goodwill gesture to the people of Russia from America.
