A new COVID variant, dubbed
B.1.1.529, has surfaced in South Africa and is being
labeled the most virulent of all. It has rendered
vaccines 40% less effective. The variant has caused
a significant increase in cases in South Africa. The
B.1.1.529 variant has prompted an emergency ban on
flights from eight nations in Africa.
So many variants have surfaced
during the coronavirus pandemic and each seemingly
stronger than its predecessor. Each variant has
rendered existing vaccines less effective. In fact,
fully vaccinated people are still becoming infected
with coronavirus, spreading it to others and dying
as well.
Regardless of what President Joe
Biden tells you, the pandemic is not under control.
Proper mask wearing and social distancing could have

A part of the problem is everyone is
not on the same page when it comes to addressing
coronavirus, and with people citing restrictions are
