Mukasey's speech was so boring even he fell asleep

With the FBI famous for investigating bank robberies, you would have thought U.S. attorney General, Michael Mukasey, who runs the DOJ-FBI, was in a financial institution being pillaged this week when he hit the floor.

Turns out he collapsed due to an unspecified illness, during a speech in Washington on Thursday night. You sure he didn’t have a pretzel ala Bush.

Mukasey began shaking and slurring his words, before he hit the floor. Ironically, so does singer Beyonce during her performances.

The U.S. attorney general was rushed to the hospital, where he underwent a CT scan and MRI, among other things, as doctors tried to determine what happened to him.

FBI Director Robert Mueller flies by private jet at the taxpayer's expense to the tune of millions, while GM is being condemned for doing the same on their own dime.

As someone who had to go to the hospital, due to a stress related form of an aneurysm, when the DOJ-FBI, under Mukasey and Mueller, basically allowed a crazy, devilish pop star to rob, harass and try to have me murdered, even whilst claiming three times they are investigating the case, to Mr. Mukasey I say, it’s not a nice feeling going through all those hospital tests, now is it...especially the MRI.

Side bar: It puzzled the doctor in neurosurgery why I thought the MRI was more difficult than the angioplasty. He asked why. My answer was simple. The nice Jamaican nurse drugged me up with two sedatives and I pretty much started snoring on the operating table from that point on. Whereas, I was awake for the 45 minute cylindrical MRI and when it was over, I jokingly told the nice technician, "That machine should be at Guantánamo” you know, as apart of President Bush's unconstitutional torture policy the attorney general cosigns.

In closing, Mr. Mukasey has now been released from the hospital.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Attorney General Michael Mukasey, the no-nonsense ally in President Bush's war on terror, was hospitalized Thursday after he collapsed during a late-night speech and lost consciousness.

"Oh, no, no!" people in the audience cried out as Mukasey slumped at the lectern. "Oh, my God!"

The 67-year-old Mukasey, wearing a black tie and tuxedo, was 15 to 20 minutes into an address about terrorism when he began shaking slightly and slurring his words. As he read from his prepared text, he seemed to get stuck on a word, paused, then his head bowed slightly and he swayed. Three or four men in suits rushed on stage and caught him at the podium.

"The attorney general is conscious, conversant and alert," Justice Department spokesman Peter Carr said after doctors admitted Mukasey to George Washington University Hospital for the night.

Mukasey remained on the stage for 10 minutes being attended to by his FBI security detail and medical personnel present at the conservative Federalist Society dinner, said eyewitness Abigail Thernstrom, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute. Though he lost consciousness initially, Mukasey appeared to be awake when he was taken from the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in northwest Washington, she said.

"It was hard to watch such a thing," Thernstrom said. "It was horrible."
