Hollywood actress Lori Loughlin and her husband,
designer Mossimo Giannulli, have agreed to plead guilty in the
college admissions scandal. The couple were charged with conspiracy
to commit mail and wire fraud and honest services mail and wire
fraud, conspiracy to commit federal programs bribery, and conspiracy
to commit money laundering

The couple insisted for months they are innocent and
would fight the charges. However, for months I stated they should
plead guilty, as the evidence of the couple paying $500,000 and
following instructions from indicted proctor, Rick Singer, to stage
fake rowing pictures, to fraudulently gain their daughter admission
to the University of Southern California, are quite incriminating (Lori Loughlin Taking Dangerous Risk In Pleading Not Guilty In College
Admissions Bribery Scandal). My concern was they were
going to get locked up for a long time in attempting to fight the
government in a case that clearly shows criminal activity on their
part.
As a part of the plea deal the couple will spend
2-months in jail. Under current U.S. guidelines, with good behavior
they could be released in half that time. Loughlin will do 100 hours
of community service and pay a fine of $150,000. Giannulli will do
250 hours of community service and pay a fine of $250,000. They will
both receive 2-years supervised release.
