Judge Tracie Hunter Dragged From Court After
Being Found Guilty (Video)

In 2014 Ohio juvenile court judge, Tracie Hunter,
was convicted of improperly passing information to her brother,
Stephen Hunter, in an attempt to help him preserve his job during a
dispute. Judge Hunter’s misconduct was discovered by authorities,
which led to an investigation and her removal from the bench. She
was sentenced to 6-months in jail for the offense.
For the past 5-years, Hunter has fought against the
court conviction, but failed to have it overturned. This week was
the final rung of her legal fight. However, she did not prevail in
court. Hunter’s family and friends erupted in anger when the verdict
was read. As the bailiff began removing Hunter from court, as they
do with all convicted criminals, to take her into custody, her body
became limp. This resulted in the bailiff dragging Hunter from court
in a very undignified scene for a judge. Once you’re on the other
side of the bench, such an episode can be disconcerting and
deflating.

Hunter stated, “I violated no laws. I did not secure
a public contract. I did not secure employment for my brother, who
worked for the court for about seven years before I was elected
judge. They need to drop these unrighteous and I believe unlawful
charges against me.”
In reality, 6-months in jail is a light sentence.
Under the rules of sentencing, with good behavior, she could be out
in 3-months or less. Once she accepts reality, she will realize
that. However, it is the loss of her job and law license that is the
bigger blow. At the end of the day, to go to university for 4-years,
then law school for and additional three, work as an attorney, then
become judge, only to lose one’s seat due to the mishandling of
sensitive data, is sad and regrettable.

Side Bar: I can’t help but see a double standard in
this matter regarding Judge Hunter. Former Secretary of State,
Hillary Clinton, criminally mishandled classified data, which ended
up in the hands of America’s rivals and enemies in the world, yet the failed two-time presidential candidate
skated, not spending one second in jail for the offense.
Side Bar 2: You know what, Hillary Clinton is wack. In 2008 she
couldn’t even beat a black man in America in the election (LOL).
Then, in 2016 she couldn’t even beat a reality show contestant in the
election (LOL). I’m kidding (but not about her being wack).
