Jay Z's was given the unflattering nickname "Joe Camel" due to his resemblance to a camel

Thieving, fraudulent, ugly rapper Jay Z, has been sued by Parlux, over his failed fragrance called "Gold Jay Z." Jay Z is being sued for "breach of contract" and the company is "seeking a return of advance payment and royalties, as well as $18,000,000 in punitive damages" over the rapper's failure to promote the product. Parlux is stating an agreement was in place for Jay Z to promote the fragrance, but he arrogantly opted not to do so. That is breach of contract.

Jay Z is complaining about sitting for a judge ordered video deposition. Attorneys can ask any question in a deposition, including a person's real net worth. If you lie, there are legal consequences, as the deposition is taken under oath. As Jay Z is always lying about his net worth, finances and real age, a deposition represents real problems for him.

Jay-Z is actually 55-years-old not 48 as he is claiming to be and his wife Beyonce is said to be 45-years-old not the 38-years-old she claims to be. Additionally, they've fraudulently claimed to be billionaires, when they are not and their income is derived from intellectual property theft (Beyonce And Jay Z Copyright Infringement).

First of all, no one wants to look like Jay Z, let alone smell like him. No one wants to look or smell like a camel (well, except camels). Let's keep it real, ugly men don't sell fragrances. Only good looking people sell fragrances at a profitable rate. And even with good looks, the fragrance must smell right.

I have a nose for fragrances. I know what's good and what's not. Just because a famous person's name is on the packaging, doesn't mean it's any good. I never even saw the Jay Z fragrance in stores or online, so who knows what that abomination smelled like. I wouldn't have bought it and given it to a man anyway, as I don't support Jay Z.

I did however see the Usher fragrance in a store. I sprayed some in the air and it smelled like antiseptic. In that moment I realized why the Usher fragrance failed. While Usher is decent looking (that wasn't the marketing problem) the cologne does not smell good. At all.

The market has been overrun with terrible celebrity fragrances that companies allow celebrities to have input on what they desire it to smell like. These celebrities do not have a trained nose. Some celebrities in Hollywood also have poor taste in clothes, jewelry, homes, furnishings and just about everything you can think of, hence their garish choices. Yet, they are asked what they want their fragrance to smell like. Then, people who work for the fragrance companies, who have an understanding of the chemicals used to make fragrances, attempt to create said scent.

The Beyonce, Rihanna, Kayty Perry, Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey and Madonna fragrances, among others, have flopped. You can tell by the price point and lack of availability in certain key markets that they are not selling well. The Madonna fragrance has been the biggest flop of the lot. It disappeared so quickly. Cause really, no one wants to smell like 100 men who will sleep with anything, wrinkles, botox and the steroids she uses. However, the Jennifer Lopez fragrances have been a success, as they actually have a nice smell and the price point is an indicator of its ability to sell.

October 02, 2019 - A New York judge has ruled that JAY-Z must sit for a filmed deposition in a lawsuit launched against the rapper and entrepreneur by a perfume company, Billboard reports. The lawsuit brought by Parlux alleges that JAY-Z did not promote "Gold Jay Z," a fragrance the rapper made in collaboration with the company in 2016. Parlux accuses JAY-Z of breach of contract and is seeking a return of advance payment and royalties, as well as $18 million in punitive damages...

Initially scheduled for August 27, the deposition was canceled by JAY-Z when he discovered it would be filmed. In a September 20 filing, JAY-Z's legal team pointed to how "depositions of other high-profile celebrities have been leaked" in asking for the cameras to be removed from the deposition room...
