The Independent newspaper in London is reporting that computers all over Hollywood “are mysteriously breaking down, leaving studios unable to work.” The high end film editing software Avid has been experiencing difficulties, bringing alleged work in Hollywood to a standstill. The Independent reports “Apple computers are failing to turn reboot, triggering panic among users who rely on the systems to cerate some of the world’s most famous films.”

As such, computers in Hollywood have remained on, as reboots and shutdowns at any point in the day, could return a fatal error. This is not good for computer systems as it wears out the hardware and software much faster and opens them up to power surges that can wipeout data. Apple makes great products. However, at the end of the day, it has been my experience thanks to Hollywood computer intrusion, that computers do not begin creating reboot errors without a third party having created an undesirable change to the software, using an exploit (see: hacking).

It means that the Apple computers are failing to turn reboot, triggering panic among users who rely on the systems to create some of the world's most famous films. Users were told not to switch their computers off for fear of falling victim to the problem. Avid posted on Twitter that it was "aware of the reboot issue affecting Apple Mac Pro devices running some Avid products"...
