Hollywood Brings Violence To Miami Via
Shootings Regarding The Rolling Loud Music Festival Events
May 14. 2019
NBA Youngboy
This past weekend the Rolling Loud Music Festival
was held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, home of
the Miami Dolphins football team. Dozens of recording artists
descended on Miami for the Rolling Loud event. Scheduled to appear
at Rolling Loud was rapper NBA YoungBoy, real name Kentrell DeSean
Gaulden. However, on Sunday (Mothers Day in America) he was the
target of a deadly shooting in the Miami neighborhood of Sunny
Isles, which is located on Miami Beach.
NBA YoungBoy was staying at the Trump
International Beach Resort on Sunny Isles. NBA Youngboy and his
girlfriend, Kaylyn Marie Long, were shot at outside the hotel by the
occupants in a Black Cadillac Escalade, in what was a drive-by
shooting. NBA YoungBoy and his crew returned fire.
NBA Youngboy
Kaylyn was hit and videotaped bleeding in the
lobby. During the shoot out, a 5-year-old boy was grazed by a
bullet, but is expected to be okay. However, another innocent
bystander, 43-year-old hotel employee Mohamad Jradi, was hit by a
stray bullet that pierce his head, killing him, as he left work to
celebrate Mothers Day with his family. During the same time frame,
another shooting transpired a short distance down the street,
wounding an unnamed person.
Though I haven’t been to Sunny Isles in several
months, for years I’d gone to the Library (across the street from
the Trump International), supermarket (Publix, which is a couple
blocks away), Starbucks and the Epicure (restaurant/bakery/market
which recently closed) in that area and it was always a peaceful
neighborhood (I wrote about it on Twitter prior to the shooting).
Nothing ever happens there. It’s full of people going to stores, the
beach, walking their kids and dogs. It’s the last place in Miami
residents would think a shooting would occur, yet it happened.
Hollywood brought this violence to Sunny Isles.
Hellabandz
On Saturday, 24-year-old Chicago rapper AAB
Hellabandz, real name Ameer Golston, was shot to death on Washington
Avenue outside the Cameo theatre and night club on Miami Beach. He
is the ex-boyfriend of reality star Blacc Chyna. A second man was
also wounded in the shooting. Again, for over 20-years I’d gone to
Washington Ave and walked past the Cameo theatre. I never saw or
heard of anyone being shot there. Hollywood brought this violence to
Miami Beach.
Hollywood has repeatedly brought acts of violence
to the City of Miami and could care less about the negative impact
on a state (Florida) that relies on tourism ($50 billion per year).
The headlines emanating from all the violence that occurred this
past weekend is damaging. This Hollywood misconduct is damaging the
city’s name (Miami), as it is taking the full rap for Hollywood's
violent antics and the FBI's failures in not reining them in.
