Video of the domestic violence incident:

25-year-old Baltimore boxer, Gervonta Davis, was in Miami, Florida this past weekend for the Superbowl. So was the mother of his child, Dretta Star. She attended a public event, a basketball game, where she was seated courtside. Star, who is active on social networking, used her mobile phone to record herself at the event.

Out of nowhere, Davis appeared. Davis grabbed her by the collar and forced her out of the venue in front of everyone. People in the audience were shocked and taken aback at the incident. Some recorded it and uploaded it to Twitter. Then, a Twitter user tweeted at the Miami Police Department, demanding they take action in reference to the conduct Davis displayed in the video.

A warrant was issued and on February 1, 2020, Davis turned himself into police. He was charged with "simple battery domestic violence." Police in Coral Gables, a suburb of Miami, stated to the press, "As a result of an ongoing investigation after being notified through social media and the victim, on Feb. 1 2020, Davis was observed battering his former girlfriend whom have child together. Davis surrendered himself, to the Coral Gables Police detectives assigned to the case."

Davis denied hitting Star. He stated, "I never once hit her...yeah I was aggressive and told her come on. That's the mother of my child. I would never hurt her." He did not hit her in the video, but he should not have dragged her out of the venue by her collar. Under the law that is domestic violence. She looked afraid and embarrassed. She is a grown woman. No one should be handling her like that.

Star dated Davis before he became famous and gave birth to their daughter. Then, he began seeing other women. He then went public with Instagram model Ariana "Ari" Fletcher (Rapper Herbo Was Arrested For Beating Up And Choking The Mother Of His Child Ari Fletcher After Seeing Her With New Boyfriend Boxer Gervonta Davis). Then, Davis and and Fletcher broke up in what was a very public spat on social networking. Davis reunited with Star a few months ago, but apparently they broke up again. In the past Star accused him of cheating. Fletcher accused him of the same. Star and Fletcher have gotten into social networking arguments over Davis.

Davis is promoted by Floyd Mayweather, who was arrested for domestic violence, regarding two of the mothers of his children, in reference to separate incidents of battery. Some, not all boxers have anger problems that turn into domestic violence. Sugar Ray Leonard engaged in acts of domestic violence against wife Juanita Wilkinson, according to their son Sugar Ray Jr., who witnessed it (he would beat her until "her head was bloody"). Mike Tyson used to beat Robin Givens when they were married.

Right now, there's a boxer in his 30s, whom women tweet about on Twitter, but they have no idea what he's really like. His behavior behind the scenes is appalling. He is a constant cheater. He has also punched the mother of his son in her face on different occasions, as he resents her. The mother of his child outrageously schemed in trying to trap him and he's been taking it out on her via beatings. It's all quite messy.

He was dating someone else that his family, close friends and a few of his journalist friends in the press knew about, who did not go public with it at his request. However, for years he's been having sex with nearly a dozen women in his city, whom he hides from each other. He meets up with women in various hotels for sex all the time. He even went after a famous footballer's girlfriend (soccer) in the city they live, because he was jealous of the footballer, who is of his own cultural background. He also has sex with women in every country he visits. His behavior is ungentlemanly, deceitful, dangerous and disgraceful.

Then, one of the women decided to get pregnant when she found out he had a girlfriend he was taking to local places in the city they live, while out with friends. From what I was informed, the girlfriend was posting pictures on social networking, when he told her not to, which ended up on one of his friends' Instagram pages and it gave it away.

So one of the side chicks decided to deliberately stop taking birth control in an attempt to trap him and chase the girlfriend away. She got pregnant. The girlfriend he was taking places with friends, but hiding it from the dozen women he would individually meet at different hotels for sex, dumped him when she found out he got someone pregnant.

He became very resentful of the mother of his child over all of that. Not only had she chased off his girlfriend with her scheming behavior, she even went to the press in an ugly tell-all that made him look very bad, all because he wouldn't give her millions for a mansion and other luxury items when she got pregnant and gave birth. She didn't help him earn his money, but has been scheming on it all, including his mansion, in a massive way.

She sold her story to a terrible tabloid. The article appeared in the tabloid newspaper read by many millions around the world. The article was then written about in other publications, further propagating the story that thoroughly embarrassed him. She even claimed him in the article as her boyfriend, but he denied it to the newspaper the next day, as he was still messing with many other women and trying to convince them it was a one time incident many months prior and she got pregnant.

The tabloid tried to paint him as a deadbeat dad, though he had given her things for the child. They painted him in a bad light because she was living in a cramped one bedroom on welfare, rather than with him and his mother, who by what I've heard, dislikes her.

She wanted to move in with him, his mother and their immediate family, but he refused. The article shamed him into getting her a bigger apartment, while he continues to live in a house with his mom and other immediate family.

The mother of his child is still holding on for dear life, despite the fact he's been publicly seen with a few somewhat famous women and is still having sex with loads of other women at various hotels. Very messy. I don't know why anyone would want to date someone behaving like that. It is a massive disaster waiting to happen. The things people do for money and public attention...
