Rapper Herbo Was Arrested For Beating Up And Choking The Mother Of His Child Ari Fletcher After Seeing Her With New Boyfriend Boxer Gervonta Davis

G Herbo, real name Herbert Wright III, was arrested on April 17, 2019, for beating up Ariana "Ari" Fletcher, the mother of his 1-year-old son. Herbo is known in rap music for releasing mix tapes, then a debut album this year that received a lukewarm reception and low sales. Most of Herbo's money has come from doing shows and features on other rappers' records. He has made a few hundred thousand dollars from music.

Herbo and Ari broke up. Then, she upgraded to boxer Gervonta Davis, who is a world champion, millionaire and good looking. Davis has more money than Herbo and greater earnings potential. Two-weeks ago, Ari held a birthday party for their son. Gervonta was not present. However, Herbo was and he behaved very badly. Herbo cursed at a young boy for getting on a slide after he and his son went down the shoot not meant for adults. He made stern comments to Ari but also tried to play fight. It was very bipolar.

Items posted on social networking by Ari and Gervonta indicated they broke up after the birthday party. However, it was only temporary. The two were seen together on a date last week at a club in Atlanta. Herbo also showed up at the same club and was angrily glaring at Gervonta and Ari, who was doting on the boxer.  

A day later Herbo was arrested for beating up Ari. She stated on social networking that Herbo broke into her home by kicking in the door, hit her in front of their son, then took the child and gave him to his friends who sped off with the toddler. Ari stated Herbo also locked her in a room of her home and further beat her up.

Gervonta and Dretta, the mother of his daughter, made a cute couple. They looked nice together.

She stated she was choked, punched, dragged and beaten to the point she has a black eye and bruises all over her body. That's horrible. Police arrested Herbo on a simple battery charge. He was held in jail until he posted $2,000 bond the next day. Previously Ari accused Herbo of having a sexually transmitted disease.

Out of nowhere Herbo is claiming Ari stole $300,000 in jewelry from him, but allegedly taking it from his mother's house. He slammed her as a "lame a*s b***h." He indicated the retrieved the jewelry and did not file an insurance claim that would have gotten her "locked up." Many on social networking do not believe his story. It comes across as trying to distract from being arrested for being a woman beater.

Herbo also bragged that Ari still wants to have sex with him, but she stated he has contracted "herpes" (which he denies). In a sign his ego is wounded over her dating Gervonta, the rapper stated, "Why you trying to make it like I care about you or your relationship? Or anything you do? I don't give a f**k about you and you know it. I love you 'cause you my son's mom, but I don't care about you. I'm with my girl and I'm gonna be with her for a long time."

It's clear Herbo is jealous of Gervonta. Hence his rage towards Ari. However, he's out of order. Some on social networking are egging on Gervonta to beat up Herbo, which he could easily do, as he is a well-trained fighter, but that would get him into trouble and I don't want that to happen.

Gervonta has a very promising career and he's come too far to let anything derail his progress. Sometimes in life we may want to take revenge, but it is not the answer. It only breeds more trouble. I also do not trust Herbo's penchant for dangerous, amour piercing guns.

Ari should apply for full custody of their son for the safety of the child. The court should only give Herbo supervised visits, as he has proven he is dangerous. Herbo hangs out with dangerous criminals and has a growing criminal record. He is not one who is turning his life around. He could if he tried, but continues to go the wrong way. He is into crime to supplement his income, as his music isn't selling well and the music industry is not generating the type of money it used to do. A baby should not be in an environment with a violent parent who is into crime. The poor child could get hurt.
