Gabrielle Union Shades Dwyane Wade’s Former Side Chick Leaving Her Son Out Of Family Photo

Last week, Aja Metoyer, the former side chick of NBA basketball player, Dwyane Wade, who appeared on a few episodes of the reality show “Basketball Wives” took a nasty swipe at his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, in what has been a terrible rivalry between the two women.

Gabrielle had difficulty carrying a baby. She experienced nine miscarriages while trying to have a baby with Dwyane. Gabrielle then used a surrogate to carry her egg fertilized by Dwyane and their daughter Kaavia James Wade was born (the name “James” chosen due to Wade’s close friendship with fellow basketball player Lebron James). Gabrielle and Dwyane have stated Kaavia is their biological child.

Aja has shown herself to be a bitter former side chick, who is resentful and angry that her attempt to trap Wade with a baby, failed to lead to marriage, while he and Gabrielle were having relationship problems. In fact, one month after Aja gave birth to Wade’s son, Xavier, Dwyane went back to Gabrielle and married her. Aja was very angry over Dwyane’s decision.

A few days ago Aja posted a photo on Instagram of a woman with a cesarean section scar. The caption on the photo read, “Shout out to every woman who made the sacrifice. You are appreciated.” She also added the caption, “Mr. Xavier Wade.” It was a mean insult regarding Gabrielle’s pregnancy problems in not being able to carry a baby full term, which is something many women have struggled with in life. As stated last week, if it wasn’t an insult directed at Gabrielle, Aja would have included her two daughters by Damon Wayons Jr in the post as well.

Gabrielle is clearly running things in the Wade household because yesterday she released a photo entitled “The Wades” in what is a takeoff of the very popular 1980s television show “Miami Vice” (Wade plays for the Miami Heat basketball team). The family photo contained Gabrielle, Dwyane, their daughter Kaavia, Dwyane’s two sons from his first marriage to Siohvaughn Wade (Zaire and Zion) and Dwyane’s nephew Dahveon, who lives with them (Wade has given his nephew a better life which is very commendable). However, noticeably absent from the photo was Aja and Dwyane’s 5-year-old son Xavier.

After the nasty Instagram dig Aja issued regarding Gabrielle’s pregnancy problems, not a lot of people feel sorry for her (they do feel sorry for her son though). The Wades photo has over 300,000 likes on Instagram, meaning it has been well-received.

Sadly, Aja’s son is paying the price for her warring with Gabrielle and Dwyane, out of bitterness and spite that they got married. It’s been 5-years. For the sake of your son, it’s time to grow up. He did not want to marry you, even though you took things into your own hands.

As stated last week and prior to that as well, this is why many women do not want to get involved with men who have a baby mama, as the slang phrase goes. It’s not that women dislike other women’s children. It’s a matter of disliking how some baby mamas behave, as they will add stress and distress to your life. It is especially difficult when the man is famous.

A number of baby mamas of famous men have gone to the press selling terrible stories when the man refused to give them the luxury property, cash and sports car they wanted, which was the only reason they got pregnant in the first place. They have humiliated them as deadbeat dads, when some were not so. They have viciously slammed the new woman in the man’s life and even the one he marries, rather than them.

Gold diggers act very ruthlessly when it comes to famous men. They are sitting there calculating how much is in his bank accounts and how to get it through the child. They are scheming on money they did not help him earn. They are scheming on getting his mansion through trying to trap him with a child or inheriting it through the baby. It’s disgraceful and lazy. Go earn your own money and stop being a greedy gold digger. It’s not a good look on anyone.

Some on social networking like to pretend side chicks are winning (usually the side chick). No they are not. They’re catching major L’s (losses). After they fail to trap the famous man with a baby, he’s out there dating other women, some of whom have the same idea and get pregnant as well for a monthly child support check. Then you have baby mamas fighting like junkyard dogs for the rich/famous man’s money and property, which is once again, not a good look. It’s always comical when the famous man runs off and marries someone else.

Most women can give a man a baby. Today, women who have difficulty becoming pregnant can use IVF. Those who have difficulties carrying a child can get a surrogate thanks to modern technology. However, having a baby without telling the man you’re off birth control doesn’t mean he will commit to you. You may be able to give a man a baby but will the man give you his heart. That’s the question. They often don’t when they feel someone tried to trap them. It says they can’t trust you and that you’re trying to control them and their money. Women, do not do that. You’re setting yourself up for a fall.

At the end of the day, it is better to be with someone you love and not deceive them via trying to trap them with a baby. Money should never be a factor. Love is what is most important. When you see marriages like those of famous men Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Steph Curry and Lebron James, you see people with a genuine love for each other. There was no trapping anyone with a baby. Women need to learn from that.
