Social Networking Slams Side Chick Aja Metoyer Over Barren Dig At Gabrielle Union Regarding Relationship With Husband Dwyane Wade

NBA basketball player Dwyane Wade has seen a lot of drama in his love life. Dwyane and first wife, Siohvaughn Wade, the mother of his first two sons Zion and Zaire, had a bitter divorce, where she accused him of infidelity with women such as Hollywood actress, Gabrielle Union.

Dwyane and Siohvaughn were high school sweethearts. Once he became famous, women began throwing themselves at him and it caused problems in his marriage. Gabrielle was determined to get him and began openly insulting his wife online during the bitter divorce (in what would later come back to her via one of Dwyane’s side chicks, Aja Metoyer doing the same).

Siohvaughn was devastated over the breakdown of her marriage and it damaged her mental health. She fought to keep her marriage together, but it ended in divorce due to infidelity. Once the divorce went through, Gabrielle began pressuring Dwyane to get married. However, not long after, Gabrielle and Dwyane broke up. According to some people, the break-up was due to Dwyane cheating with women like Aja Metoyer, who made an appearance on “Basketball Wives” and is the mother of actor Damon Wayans Jr.’s two children.

In fact, Dwyane knocked up Aja and some state during his relationship with Gabrielle, leading to the break-up. Gabrielle insists they had already broken up. However, the timeline if off, not supporting her claims. As devastated as she was that Aja became pregnant, clearly in trying to trap Dwyane, Gabrielle reunited with him. Despite her heartbreak, Gabrielle and Dwyane wed one month after Aja gave birth to son Xavier Wade in 2013.

The marriage went ahead much to Aja‘s annoyance. More heartbreak happened for Gabrielle, as she suffered 9 miscarriages in trying to have a baby with Dwyane. This went on for years. In the end she decided to have a surrogate carry a baby. The unnamed surrogate gave birth to Gabrielle and Dwyane’s daughter this year.

Aja is still bitter over everything. She thought she had a shot at marrying Dwyane. Hence Aja quickly getting pregnant. However, they broke up during her pregnancy, which was devastating. She was trying to get the wedding ring via getting pregnant without telling him first, thinking it would lead to a proposal, but instead it led to a lot of heartbreak and disappointment, as he dumped her for other women, then went back to Gabrielle.

I’ve written about this topic before. Women trying to trap men with babies need to realize it usually backfires. Many men in that situation become resentful and will not be at home with you rubbing your pregnant belly and feet, because they feel like you were deceitful with them in trying to drag them down the aisle.

Days ago, Aja’s bitterness surfaced again. She posted a photo on Instagram of a woman with a cesarean section scar on her stomach. The photo bore the caption “Shout out to every woman who made the sacrifice. You are appreciated.” She also added the caption, “Mr. Xavier Wade lol.” She then deleted it and reposted it with the caption, "Mr. Xavier Wade."

Immediately women pounced on Aja, as her post on Instagram was clearly an insult to Gabrielle, who could not carry and deliver a baby naturally without miscarriage. The comments got so bad, Aja turned them off on her Instagram page. It was very mean of Aja to write that given the situation, as it is clearly a dig at Gabrielle’s pregnancy problems.

However, millions of women have trouble conceiving and carrying a baby. It’s not something that should be used to insult or mock someone. That was very distasteful. It her zeal at insulting Gabrielle, Aja insulted many other innocent women in the process.

Aja tried to deny the comment was aimed at Gabrielle, but why didn't she include her other two children in the post, rather than just writing "Xavier Wade." Aja's behavior is another example of why many women do not want to get into a relationship with a man who has a baby mama, as the phrase goes.

Some baby mamas behave in a very terrible manner towards the new woman in the man's life and get much worse when he actually marries someone else. Those situations can get nasty, harassing, threatening and downright violent in some sad cases. No woman wants that type of stress in her life.

It’s also not Gabrielle’s fault that Dwyane did not want to marry Aja and does not spend more time with their son Xavier. Reports indicate he does visit the child, but naturally because he lives with Gabrielle, he spends most of his time in that household. Dwyane lives with Gabrielle, their daughter and has custody of his two sons from his first marriage. Aja needs to accept the fact she created this situation that is now causing her heartbreak. Sadly her son is also paying the price as well, in not seeing his dad more often and being the brunt of comments and jokes on social networking and in the press, regarding being the “break baby.”

Truthfully, Dwyane belonged with his first wife Siohvaughn. Regrettably that marriage fell apart due to his fame and the temptations that arose from it. Everything since then has been quite tumultuous. I like Dwyane, but his relationships have gotten very complicated and it could not be easy being in the midst of all that drama with Aja and Gabrielle.
