Issued Checks To Teachers And Firefighters That

Florida governor Ron DeSantis is
trying so hard to be former President Donald Trump
and failing at every turn. DeSantis told Floridians
that he would be giving the state's teachers and
firefighters a bonus check of $1,000 for all of
their work during the pandemic. The teachers and
firefighters do deserve $1,000 and even more money
for their hard work and dedication. That's not even
in question.
However, DeSantis, who put his name on the checks,
in emulating Trump, who issued stimulus checks to all Americans in
2020, had a serious problem. Trump's checks cleared and the American
people received the funds. Many of DeSantis' checks bounced on the
poor teachers and firefighters who tried to cash them. What kind of
Mickey Mouse foolishness is that. DeSantis is constantly
embarrassing himself.
DeSantis is trying to blame the bounced checks on
the bank and downplay how many of the financial instruments did not
clear. However, people are stating many checks bounced. It's pretty
telling that he gave his officials pay raises they didn't need,
meanwhile the teachers and firefighters checks bounced. I've never
heard of that happening before in the U.S. government, but DeSantis
brought the State of Florida to this embarrassing juncture.
