Edward Snowden Officially Granted
Asylum In Russia Angering Obama
August 1. 2013
NSA whistle blower Edward Snowden has officially been granted asylum
in Russia, on a 1-year renewable basis, with the proviso he stops
leaking information detrimental to the U.S. government. This decision
has come much to the anger of the Obama Administration, who wants
Snowden locked away for life or killed, according to security experts.
Snowden leaked evidence of the NSA illegally spying on Americans,
creating a worldwide scandal that exposed the government.

The Obama Administration has been aggressively pursuing Snowden for extradition,
but has been unsuccessful. Attorney General Eric Holder, has been
issuing threats over Snowden's approved asylum case as well. Either
way, the Judiciary Report wishes Mr. Snowden the best.
