Desperate Democrats Forcing Social Networking To Purge Users In The Lead Up To The Election

Desperate high profile Democrats have been leaning on social networking companies in Silicon Valley, demanding they purge and ban as many influential conservatives, centrists and libertarian users as possible, in the lead up to the U.S. midterm elections. The whole thing was a product of calls made to Silicon Valley by the offices of former President Barack Obama, failed candidate Hillary Clinton, and U.S. senator Nancy Pelosi, among a handful of other prominent figures in the Democratic party. This was very unfair to the social networking companies.

Select Democrats inside Congress and some who are retired, have been hounding the owners of sites such as Facebook, You Tube, Instagram and Twitter, demanding they purge said demographic from their sites, for fear they will influence the election next month.

In demanding these favors from the social networking companies, they sites have lost actual, active users and their stock value has been negatively impacted in earnings reports. This is not good for the U.S. economy, as it means a loss in revenues for Silicon Valley, which also threatens tens of thousands of jobs in said sector.

These are unconstitutional, selfish, politically motivated requests that spit on free speech laws in America. It is causing domestic and international social networking users to become very exasperated with said sites, as some of their favorites suddenly disappeared without a trace, banned because they are a political threat to the Democrats.

It’s not a good look. Considering Obama, Clinton and Pelosi can’t afford the price tag of the aforementioned social networking sites, they need to stop damaging the U.S. economy in trying to shut people up who have been using it on a daily basis and amassed large followings. You didn't come up with those sites. Therefore, what are you doing calling those people in Silicon Valley, harassing them to silence people. You're behaving like arrogant, entitled, political bullies, who clearly need an enema. Why are you so uptight over what people are writing on sites you did not come up with nor do you own.

The aforementioned political figures in question from the Democratic party can’t lecture communist nations about free speech, then do things like this. It looks very hypocritical. I believe in free speech, free press and free enterprise. There are many things written, said and done in this world that I don’t agree with, but I’m well-adjusted enough to peacefully agree to disagree, move on and turn my focus to more productive things that do not include trying to unconstitutionally shut people up.
