Disgraced woman beating, Sony Music singer Chris Brown, took photos today with a group of female basketball players, at the University of Mary Washington, during White Ribbon week, devoted to denouncing violence against women.

The fact that Brown still has female fans and women are bashing his battered girlfriend Rihanna online, is confounding her record label and management. It’s a pattern they’ve noticed and are worried about.

Chris Brown spent Tuesday hooping it up at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va. And the school just happens to be in the middle of The White Ribbon Campaign ... a week devoted to raising awareness about violence towards women.

Chris decided to rock an interesting wardrobe choice for the occasion ... and we're not talking about the shorts.
