California Is An Environmental Disaster

California has become an environmental disaster. Massive earthquakes, wildfires, mudslides, soil erosion, smog, escalating temperatures and toxic waste in the waters and land of the state (California Is Becoming A Disaster Zone On Many Levels). The problems have been occurring for years and have reached their worst levels this year.

The state’s politicians, such as senator Nancy Pelosi, claim to be woke, environmentally conscious and in favor of justice, but their track record states otherwise. Just take a look at it. California has become a disaster zone. California is a state where polluters are wreaking havoc and not enough is being done to bring them to justice.

Select people are flouting state rules and laws, and acting with carelessness, leading to highly damaging fires and contamination issues. The current wildfires in California were started via a gender reveal party gone wrong, igniting dry terrain and leading to millions of acres being burned, with lives, homes and businesses. That is infuriating, as so much was lost. Damaging God's earth over a gender reveal party. Unbelievable!

Individuals who engage in such reckless behavior should face 20-years in prison and millions in fines. A line needs to be drawn to put the fear of the law in people, regarding the environment and the lives and safety of others. Think before you act. Be mindful that your actions can lead to serious fires that kill others and destroys human life and property. No one should be setting off fireworks or flares in such a dry climate.

That's another thing, when will Pelosi and her fellow California politicians put a practical plan into practice to properly irrigate the state. When I visited California I thought it had a lot of natural beauty and lovely landscaping. However, it became quickly apparent the state was dry and needed more irrigation. If the Jews and Arabs can irrigate the desert, Pelosi and co can irrigate California.

Then there's the matter of Hollywood. The entertainment industry is creating many junkies, who were used and abused by the industry, after going out there to become rich and famous. The cost of living in California is high and now many are homeless (Hollywood Stars And Executives Fleeing California).

Reports indicate homeless people are littering and polluting the streets of Los Angeles with human waste (leading to waste disposal issues and disease on the streets). There are literal tent camps on the streets of Los Angeles. I have compassion for them as they are homeless and didn't ask for that to happen to them. The state needs to help them. There needs to be a strong help the homeless initiative in the state. There needs to be a strong effort to get them housing and medical assistance.

Silicon Valley also has pollution issues that need to be properly addressed. It is full of electronic equipment adding to pollution issues. These electronics are often improperly disposed, leading to toxic pollution, which negatively impacts air quality.

Both Silicon Valley and Hollywood have driven up the cost of homeownership and rent in California. There needs to be affordable housing, as this issue is causing more homelessness as well. People who were born and raised in the state can no longer afford to live there.

Poor waste management is polluting the pacific ocean every single day with feces, medical waste, industrial chemicals and plastics. Footage of the waste pouring into the pacific ocean is so upsetting to see. It is doing a significant amount of damage and making people sick.

These issues pose a great danger to the health, safety and survival of Californians. If there is not a proper, concerted intervention, things will become very grim in the state of California. There are too many negative issues at play and they are creating the perfect storm.

Fires flare at historic California observatory as state approaches 4 million acres burned

Sept. 21, 2020, 6:48 PM EDT - Dozens of firefighters were battling small blazes that flared up overnight around a historic observatory in Southern California on Monday as the state approached nearly 4 million acres burned in a record wildfire season.

A spokesman for the team responding to the Bobcat Fire, Larry Smith, said adverse winds overnight whipped up the fires days after the blaze came within 500 feet of Mount Wilson Observatory in the San Gabriel Mountains.

Eight hand crews and three strike teams totaling more than 150 firefighters were defending the area Monday, Smith said. Thomas Meneghini, Mount Wilson Observatory's executive director, told the Los Angeles Times on Monday: "Just when I thought the danger was over — it wasn't"...
