The coronavirus is rapidly spreading through bars in America. In one incident, 18 people contracted coronavirus at a bar in Florida, which prompted its temporary closure by the government. In another incident, 88 people contracted the coronavirus at a bar in Michigan, which resulted in the establishment being temporarily closed.

A significant part of the problem is the inability to social distance in a bar or pub, as you cannot accommodate an adequate amount of customers at one time to make a decent financial profit. Social distancing on bar stools would mean two people at the bar. That is not financially profitable.
