There are 44,000,000 Americans on unemployment. The Hill reported over 100,000 small businesses in America have closed. CNBC reported 7,500,000 American small businesses are in danger of closing. Many major corporations in America have closed as well. National retailers are closing thousands of stores in their chains.

There are 4,370,000 cases of coronavirus in America and 150,000 deaths from the virus. On average 60,000 Americans per day are contracting coronavirus, which is very alarming. America has sustained more damage from the virus than any other country in the world. This is threatening America's place in the world, due to the erosion of the economy.
