More information has surfaced in the
shooting death of 16-year-old foster child, Ma'Khia
Bryant, at the hands of Ohio police officer, Nicholas
Reardon. The dispute that resulted in police being called
revolved around two women, who were former foster
children, visiting the home Bryant lived.

The two women were telling Bryant to
do chores, as a party was to be held for their
foster mother. Bryant was upset the women were
giving her orders and refused. It escalated into an
argument and turned violent. Police were called to
help Bryant, as one of the two women reportedly had
a knife.
Nicholas Reardon killed Ma'Khia Bryant
At some point Bryant obtained a
knife and the fight spilled outdoors. Responding
police officer Nicholas Reardon arrived on the scene
and within seconds began shooting, when he saw the
underage girl wielding the knife. Reardon killed the
minor with 4 shots to the chest, in what was an
execution that constitutes excessive force and
police brutality. Reardon has not been arrested or
charged in Bryant's death (but he should be).
